bro, the stuff that happened, happens everywhere in college football. It's how you look at it. A lot of coaches who are dicks and only concerned about winning let this kind of stuff slide for the sake of a win. But Miles cares about this program and these kids enough to discipline them so they can learn as young adults, who most, probably have been missing father figures. Coaching football is personal to Miles, and players success in life and becoming successful men matter more than one win. IMO, it looks bad from the outside looking in, but when you think about it, in the long run, the players and the program are better for it.

your grandpa makes more since than pretty much anyone on this board. and he's 100% right. I think it's amazing that people can come onto this board and berate the players and call the players stupid, immature and trashy...they must not read what they write before they post it. either that, or they can't comprehend irony.

Good stuff.

But I at the "shake his hand, and tell him thank you for me". A little much.

It's funny how people on here respond to something they agree with like it's the most intelligent quote they've ever heard. Just sayin'.

I hope in 31 years I will have the wisdom of your PawPaw.
I told my son the other day that trying to coach these kids has got to be a bitch. Raising 5 boys was a trial enough.
