throwing to Nabers and Thomas

Bo Nix had a rough four-play stretch during team - a dropped snap, missed a pair of open receivers (Barner on skinny, Corley on short stop between hashes), and then a sack

The Oregon quarterback is coming off an historic season for the Ducks where he set school records for passing yards and touchdowns. That success has catapulted him up some draft boards, with many putting him in the first round.

He’s the player he’s always been.

Had a great roster around him at Oregon this year.

Auburn Bo is the real Bo.

Bo Nix

If he goes to a NFL team that throws 38% of their passes behind the line of scrimmage he’ll be fine.

Bo Nix is not an NFL QB. Nor should he EVER be taken in the first round. Any team that selects him in the first round will instantly regret that decision. He will be out of the league quickly. His best hope is to be selected later and be a lifetime backup like Chase Daniels.

I agree with your last statement. He will be a journeyman QB. But where he is drafted will have no bearing on how long he's in the league.

I think the senior bowl is more about coaches getting to know players and how the operate. Bo Nix not having timing with his receivers when they have only been practicing with each other for 3 days isn't that big of a deal

Am I imagining or did JD announce he would play the Senior Bowl at one point? That was prior to the Heisman and opting out of the bowl game, so clearly he wouldn't participate in the Senior Bowl, nor should he. But I do remember him saying he would play.

Or if he plays every game against a team that has BJ Ojulari as its primary pass rusher...

Nix is going to be fine. 10 years in league on the bench and millions in the bank.

The Senior Bowl is more or less for guys that didn't get a lot of exposure during the season. The Heisman winning, potential top 5 pick doesn't fall into that category.

So you’re saying the Saints will trade up to get him.

Since when do projected first rounders play in the senior bowl? I thought this was for guys trying to get noticed and help build their stock.
