They REALLY do hate LSU

Growing up I used to think, it was just tribalistic banter to see everyone is out to get us. But in the last 7 years, it has been obscene. Off the top of my head ....
The Will Wade media outrage was THE MOST hypocritical thing I have ever seen in my life by the media. It was scum of the earth level duplicity.
Coach O being skewered for super benign statements during the BLM stuff
Folks being angry for us hiring Brian Kelly.
Folks being angry for us FIRING Brian Kelly.
Folks being angry for us hiring Lane Kiffin.
Folks being angry for us RE-hiring Will Wade
Now the SEC is unfairly targeting us for something everyone else was doing or trying to do. Thankfully the hypocrisy was SO egregious that even the media couldn't spin it against us.
We have won championships in a VERY high profile way. 2019 Football was full of NFL superstars. Multiple Heismans. 2 Baseball National titles with MLB superstar players. Hiring Kim Mulkey and winning a championship there. Having social media stars from other sports.
I think we have just broken peoples brains. I think they know now we have an ELITE group of big 3 sport coaches who are WINNERS and hungry and know what the brand can do. We have a President, AD, Governor who are completely bought in to what LSU sports is and can do for the state when leveraged and supported properly. We also have MONEY. LSU has got so much more of an "IT" factor than schools like Alabama, Ohio St, Georgia - BORING. Only schools that come close or equal are USC and Miami when they are relevant.
I think my fandom has been renewed with all the hate. Ready to obliterate teams on the field. Can't wait to see what unfolds in this new golden era !

There really is a combination of fear and arrogance/elitism.
They KNOW that if someone ever unapologetically tapped into this state and school's potential we would be as hard to beat as any program ever. This is hard to argue. Hell, the greatest coach in the history of the sport said this.
The traditional powers that be were ok with this premise, because they COUNTED on us being unable or unwillingly to truly do that. It was a cute fantasy to them.
The MINUTE we start doing it, they want us to "get back in our place" and its a five alarm fire in Birmingham.
You get the top programs freaking out feeling threatened. They are able to recruit the bottom feeders because of course they are. Those schools will always punch up and take an opportunity to take a bite out of someone above them. Crabs in a bucket.

I don’t think anyone besides Alabama truly enjoyed the Alabama dynasty. They’re just afraid that a few years later it’s being replaced by an LSU dynasty. That’s all.

The best part is Sankey can't do a damn thing to "punish" us, he will likely get sued by the 2 guys who are not on our roster, and the rest of the SEC will get the rath of this year's team. Let's go to the SEC Championship game and destroy whoever is the opponent and tell all those MF'ers along the way to STTDB!

As a fan of an opposing school, I have several reasons.
One of the main things is the amount of t-shirt fans LSU has. You’ve got an entire state that roots for one school, as opposed to most other states. Obviously not everyone can attend, but I get the feeling that the loudest, most obnoxious ones are the same ones that never stepped foot in a classroom at LSU. Most schools have t-shirt fans, but not many are as loud and obnoxious as LSU’s.
Someone else mentioned that people think LSU fans are stupid. I know that’s not true, but the states’ education is ranked as one of the worst in the nation. And just as some people think of the state of Texas and think of cowboys and livestock, I think a lot of people see Louisiana and think of swamps and backwoods, and that doesn’t help your image.
There’s also been a lot of controversial things with LSU. Whether it’s the whole Kiffin thing, the title IX scandal, the money embezzlement scandal, the Les Miles sexual conduct scandal, the Will Wade recruiting violations scandal, etc. - there seems to be a lot of questionable stuff that makes the headlines with LSU.
Regarding Kiffin, he’s a good coach but he’s a piece of shite. He hasn’t won anything of note as of now at any school he’s been the head coach of, but he’s got better talent and backing now. But he’s still a douchebag. And that’s not me saying that because he’s the head coach of LSU. If he’s your head coach then everyone can put their blinders on, but he’s a very dislikable human being.
There also seems to be a lot of political play at LSU. I feel as if a lot of schools usually keep it behind closed doors, because every school has a lot of political theater. However, LSU seems to have it more out in the open. Maybe it’s more noticeable since we border yall.
Yall have won a fair number of titles in sports, and people don’t like winners unless it’s their own school. I’ll give yall that, but for me the wins don’t really correlate with the disdain. Most of it is from the items above.

Elko put up 38 points two years ago and 49 points in Baton Rouge last year.
And regarding the TAMU employee, I haven’t heard of that, so I don’t know what the story is. However, if found guilty then I hope they get the max sentence necessary.
