And regarding the TAMU employee, I haven’t heard of that, so I don’t know what the story is. However, if found guilty then I hope they get the max sentence necessary.

As a fan of an opposing school, I have several reasons.

One of the main things is the amount of t-shirt fans LSU has. You’ve got an entire state that roots for one school, as opposed to most other states. Obviously not everyone can attend, but I get the feeling that the loudest, most obnoxious ones are the same ones that never stepped foot in a classroom at LSU. Most schools have t-shirt fans, but not many are as loud and obnoxious as LSU’s.

Someone else mentioned that people think LSU fans are stupid. I know that’s not true, but the states’ education is ranked as one of the worst in the nation. And just as some people think of the state of Texas and think of cowboys and livestock, I think a lot of people see Louisiana and think of swamps and backwoods, and that doesn’t help your image.

There’s also been a lot of controversial things with LSU. Whether it’s the whole Kiffin thing, the title IX scandal, the money embezzlement scandal, the Les Miles sexual conduct scandal, the Will Wade recruiting violations scandal, etc. - there seems to be a lot of questionable stuff that makes the headlines with LSU.

Regarding Kiffin, he’s a good coach but he’s a piece of shite. He hasn’t won anything of note as of now at any school he’s been the head coach of, but he’s got better talent and backing now. But he’s still a douchebag. And that’s not me saying that because he’s the head coach of LSU. If he’s your head coach then everyone can put their blinders on, but he’s a very dislikable human being.

There also seems to be a lot of political play at LSU. I feel as if a lot of schools usually keep it behind closed doors, because every school has a lot of political theater. However, LSU seems to have it more out in the open. Maybe it’s more noticeable since we border yall.

Yall have won a fair number of titles in sports, and people don’t like winners unless it’s their own school. I’ll give yall that, but for me the wins don’t really correlate with the disdain. Most of it is from the items above.

Downvote all you want, I don’t know what that does and couldn’t care less, but those are some of my reasons.
