What he did against uga, ou, clemson is what makes his season untouchable.

This is probably also correct, Daniels winning a heisman looks good on Kelly that’s why he desperately needs him to win it. Daniels assured himself a top ten selection already before last night

Didn’t burrow get somewhat of a mulligan against Auburn at home that year? Defense stepped up big time that game

Similar to JD game against fsu stat wise, dfront beat up oline... to others points, we just don't have a defense to beat fsu vs lsu defense having some dudes all over that year.

This is ridiculous

Burrow went 10-3 and 15-0

Played his BEST in the spotlight and won the heisman vs bama and Georgia games.

Daniels is good and glad you are having fun but no reason to compare

You are basically doing what all media does every time a team is good or goes undefeated. “Are they as good or better than the 19 lsu team”.

NO AND THEY NEVER WILL BE

I think Daniels has a much better offensive line than Burrow had. I know Burrow’s line won the award, but they were helped out tremendously by Joe’s quick decision making. The amount of time JD has had to throw has been noticeably better this year. I don’t think JD beats Burrow at least in that regard.

The national championship is the only thing that puts Burrow over the top.

Well, that and the whole being undefeated and beating the most beastly gauntlet of teams since 2011 while winning the Heisman by the largest margin ever

You remind me of my mother-in-law when she's talking to my wife. She's one of those shitty people that can't make a compliment without having a slight in there as well.

"Your hair looks nice. It's so much better than what you were doing before"

"oh wow. you look so good. How much more weight are you trying to lose?"

"I got you this shirt and it will look great on you. It is a medium. I liked it so much, I got myself a small."

Burrow played against tougher teams this SEC and I don’t think anyone can truthfully argue against the SEC is the weakest it’s been in a long time. Not trying to take anything away from Daniels amazing season but it will still be noted as the second best season. The 19 team beat 7 top ten teams…. and yes I realize Burrow wasn’t playing with a Jr high level defense like Daniels has to play with. Won a Tittle while out matching and taking down 3 of the current NFLs top 3 QBs. Daniels leap this year has been very impressive and should get him into the top 10 in the draft. But don’t get carried away

The schedule to date is very comparable.

And had the 2023 team fielded an average defense like 2019, this team would be undefeated or with 1 loss to FSU and have a chance to beat 3 more ranked teams in the postseason.

Bama 2019 (11-2) = Bama 2023 (likely 11-1 next week)
Florida 2019 (11-2, finished #6/7)= Ole Miss 2023
Auburn 2019 (9-4, #14) = Mizzou 2023

No team in 2019 regular season matches the 2023 FSU team.
Texas, and aTm finished 8-5 in 2019, which 2023 aTm may finish as well.

No one thinks these teams are the same, because this year's defense was historically bad.

This is true.
He beat the number 1,2,7,14,17 defenses (post season rankings after Burrow got them that year. LSU has lost to 17, 24(and ole miss not ranked in the top 50) and beat 45,46,47,and 48.
TAMU has the best defense they will play ranked at 8th. It would not surprise me if this is a loss due to the lsu defense because TAMU will get stops.

See, this is the kind of shite where your “I’m just being realistic” defense fails.

This is horseshite.

Daniels is averaging fewer plays per game than Burrow.

Joe Burrow never had an FSU game.

Auburn. He just had the defense to support him on an off day

You’re making slights at me and guess what without LSU no one gives a shite about Joe Burrow too I can say that about both. This thread was created making a slight at Burrow

Jayden is no Burrow.

But Burrow is no Jayden either.

I mean that in the most positive way possible.

Daniels has played a quarter and some change more of game action to this point than Burrow did in 2019

How do you know the 2019 team w/o Burrow was still a good team? Burreaux had Both sides and Everyone playing together and to their fullest and you can't say what we would have been w/o Big Bad Jeaux!

100% Joe cannot scramble like Jayden I know what you are saying in both regards. Some of these people only care about stats and that is what last night was but I don’t understand why Kelly didn’t let daniels get the 9th td

Huh?

Saying Burrow and Daniels are on the same level isn’t a slight at Burrow.
