It’s wild just 4 years ago most of us, myself included, said there will never be a QB to put up the numbers that Burrow did, and here we are with Jayden actually doing it. The national championship is the only thing that puts Burrow over the top. Let’s give JD the send off he deserves in Tiger Stadium even if it is at 11am.

Burrow played against tougher teams this SEC and I don’t think anyone can truthfully argue against the SEC is the weakest it’s been in a long time. Not trying to take anything away from Daniels amazing season but it will still be noted as the second best season. The 19 team beat 7 top ten teams…. and yes I realize Burrow wasn’t playing with a Jr high level defense like Daniels has to play with. Won a title while out matching and taking down 3 of the current NFLs top 3 QBs. Daniels leap this year has been very impressive and should get him into the top 10 in the draft. But don’t get carried away

LSU is undefeated this year with the 2019 defense, and it beats UGA by double digits in the SECCG.

Doesn’t miss a chance to rain on any Daniels parade. Pathetic.

It’s not just an LSU thing but I think once in a generation type of seasons and players are clearly going by the wayside.

The players are only getting better and better and at a faster pace.

bullshite I’m just a realist I’ve given Daniels all the credit for his jump in how he plays.

We do have to count ourselves as lucky. And what's really funny is nothing about either of their junior years told you what was coming. You had an idea they might be better but nothing prepared us for their senior seasons. What's really cool is the only thing similar about them is the crazy numbers. How they go about doing it is night and day different

Imagine in 2017 being told that 2 of the next 3 starting QB’s at LSU would be Heisman level

There is nothing realistic about saying Burrow had a better season than Daniels up to this point. All of those end of year top teams hadn’t happened yet. Daniels won’t get that chance and it has nothing to do with his play and everything to do with the defensive side of the ball.

Realistic though

I love Daniels and agree with basically every word of this.

Joe Burrow never had an FSU game.

gun to my head I still consider a burrow a better draft prospect after his senior season than Daniels but the Gap isn't wide

Shocked that someone who doesn’t punctuate and hilariously has UGANDA as their location isn’t crazy about Daniels.

Realist? Here’s reality: JD is having a season that, at the least, is the equal of the 2019 season statistically. And he’s doing it without support from the defense and in spite of some losers in the “fan base” that minimize what he does.
The 2019 team without Burrow was still a good team. This team without Daniels? Think about it.

Yeah I hate Daniels so much I’ve been posting on the Saints board on how much I wish they would or could draft him. The beginning of the year Daniels still had some of his bad habits he had last year which frustrated a lot of folk here. He’s made huge leaps since the FSU game this season and has proven he can be a legit Qb and a weapon.

And if you base it on stats, then you simply have to adjust for time played. JB would have been out of last night's game, possibly by the 2nd quarter. Literally inconceivable he would have stayed in until the penultimate possession late in the 4th.
