Bama is likely going to get Auburn and Tennessee. I can't see the Alabama people wanting to get LSU as well. They will pull for an easier school.

I think LSU definitely gets Ole Miss. We may end up with A&M. I think we get either Oklahoma or Arkansas to finish it out. I would prefer if we got Miss State.

Do you think they'll give Bama Auburn, Tennessee, and LSU every year?

I think LSU will definitely have Ole Miss and TAMU, but i have no idea about the third one. I'd personally like to keep playing Florida, but I'd also take Arkansas or Miss St.

I'd prefer we don't get A&M. I'm tired of the SEC trying to legitimize those assholes by forcing them on us at every opportunity. They shouldn't even be in the league.

I really do think LSU-Bama being the premier TV draw for the last 15 years makes it the most likely option. But Saban got this whole thing nixed over having to play LSU every year so who knows.

Alabama is going to lobby for Auburn and Tennessee. As a result, they are going to want to keep LSU off that list...just like LSU fans bitched and whined about having to play Florida every year.

no way, A&M/OU is not a rivalry...

I am guessing A&M gets Texas, Arkansas, and LSU

If we get saddled with A&M it’s just embarrassing

This makes by far the most sense for LSU, but i bet you they are going to stick us with TAMU every year.

I agree, Oklahoma and 8&4 aren’t rivals. I think lsu ends up with Ole Miss, A&M and either Arkansas or Oklahoma. My reasoning is I think there will be a permanent opponent the last weekend of the season. Obviously Missouri has no ties to LSU but ties to the other two schools. So one gets mizzo and the other gets lsu. My favorite games lsu plays are Bama, Auburn, Florida and ole miss. We already lost the auburn game and it looks like we will lose the other two. At least with the new scheduling we get to play them twice in a 4 year span.

Only way to do this is the Quads we talked about a year ago I think. The 3 "permanent" will all play each other. then play 2 from the other 3 quads each year. then the next year play the other 2. rotating home and away.
So what are the 4 quads is the next question?

Bama Auburn Tennessee Vandy will be that "permanent" Quad would be my guess.

Who we used to play rivalry week each year would have been Tulane.
But that ended. Time to give the”The Boot” the boot as well.

So now we lose Clemson at home?

Typical dumb arse LSU, schedule a top 5 team on the road and don’t get a return trip. LSU football scheduling is laughable.

Why would you bet Oklahoma? They’ve only played them 31 times all-time compared to 63 for LSU. Their history with Oklahoma is basically when they were in the Big 12. They didn’t play at all for over 40 years

One negative is that every other year when there are 5 SEC road games there will only be 7 home games.

I hope they don’t still have the neutral site game out of conference in the years with 5 away games. That would be only 6 Tiger Stadium games.
