LMFAO. The fact that this was brought up just shows how they are looking for any reason to get us expelled. Let em. LSU was aware this was a likely scenario and I expect they will start their plans they had in place in response. Hard to see us remaining in the conference long term.

Not really

THey were going to file this regardless of that happening. They're just trying to use that as additional evidence, but it's not like they were not going to file this but that comment crossed the line,a nd NOW they decided to do it.

All while originally suing us for violating your first amendment rights.

The sad part is that not only was it just a comment, but it was literal sarcasm. He was saying they're not even really pro players, and we didn't need them anyways

this is hilarious and sad all at the same time

100%

It is hilarious because I cannot believe that a supposedly serious person thought to include that joke in an actual court filing, and that a supposedly serious attorney did so.

But it’s also sad because I honestly would love to leave the SEC at this point. It isn’t even “the SEC” anymore. It’s some new creation that I honestly don’t recognize or care about anyway. We don’t even play Auburn, Florida, and Bama every year anymore. There is no tradition.

Let’s go see how much Netflix would be willing to pay to make us the premier draw in all of college football.

I’m sure those new private equity managers are drooling over all of this, and the fans would get all night games, everyone wins

Sankey is too stupid to understand sarcasm. Explains how he got embarrassed in court.

Sankey is pissed he couldn’t find a way to attribute the “cold gumbo” comment to a LSU employee.

It’s sad that Sankey is basically grilling a charter conference member for everyone to see just to try to save his own arse.

To imagine that someone with zero emotional control like Stankey is actually in charge of a conference…

If that imbecile isn’t shite canned by the end of the week I’d be surprised .

I think this is bigger than the Lane halftime comment. I suspect this is related to the alignment of the BOS, the President, the AD, and Kiffin to potentially roster the "NFL Players."

I don't believe any of those parties prevented Kiffin from rostering those players. I believe it was an external party that made that decision.

I think that is the issue with Stankey.

Sankey is setting himself up for losing his job. LSU could appeal in court and win rather easily based on 1 fact. When Alabama took in a 2 year g league pro the SEC did ZERO to punish Alabama. LSU is not even rostering these players and the SEC is out for blood. The damages LSU would receive would be massive. We'd be independent and rich as hell. This is a no win for the SEC.

I am no fan of Sankey. I think his leadership is poor. I think his negotiation skills are poor.

I don't know who replaces him. That concerns me.

Wait, you missed the part that Murrill has now been included in the SEC lawsuit?
