You should post a JD passing chart for each game so far to prove your point.

The QB only exists in the minds of those that fantasize about Nussmeir being installed and is miraculously better than….what the coaches see every day.

In the minds of some fans, the issue becomes unsettled with any incomplete pass.

There is no such thing as a QB issue. CBK is gonna wait until next season to unleash Nuss

This is the rant comprehension problem. As the OP stated BK talked about this last season so it is not just a fan driven idea. It appears that now we are stuck at the same performance level as last season despite BK and JD saying everyone worked real hard on it. BK has already alluded to it this season in his comments although just dancing around it.

As for the backup you are correct in that we dont know if he is better but many like me have seen good signs that he might be if given the shot.

I look at JD like drag racing. When racing an opponent with limited hp and speed he blows them away but when we go against top fuel competitors we get smoked. Bama game was an exception…

Look. I love Nuss, and there is no doubt in my mind that he is the future.

That said, there is also no doubt in my mind that Nuss is not going to get a start over JD unless JD gets hurt. Kelly has made his choice, and nothing is going to dissuade him.

I would hope, though, that Kelly will give Nuss a chance when the offense inevitably stalls against a team with a pulse.

One of the team’s defenses had 0 stops in the 2nd half

So you know better than BK about our personnel ? What about CB. You could have solved FSU carving up our DBs. I love how everybody is a QB expert.

let Nuss have it next year which is the plan.

We don’t know that. If he’s not starting now, why would he start next year?

CBK sees a dual threat running QB in tbe portal, Nuss will be backup next year, too.

CBK wants a running QB. It’s not race, it’s not JD5, it’s nothing more or less than “need a dual threat QB”.

no one seems to remember last year that our wr corps were ready to rebel because JD wouldn't throw them the ball. they were really upset and kelly had to do something. we've already seen a little bit of disgruntlement this season with receivers waiving their hands in the air with frustration.
do you think it can't happen again? or that we don't lose at least 1 more by week 6 or 7 and our offense just isn't clicking.

it is JD's baby.

Maybe not better than Brian Kelly. But I would say about the same. He said it himself, the team isn't what he thought it was. And just think he got paid $10 million to be able to come up with that.

It will be settled by 330 PM Saturday. Either he moves the ball and scores against a poor State defense or doesn’t.

JD is a solid proven college QB. He is above average and steady.

Nuss has huge arm talent and potential, but he takes more risks. That is not all bad.

We are very lucky to have 2 solid QBs. Before you complain about either one look around the SEC.
