we had a big deal going last year with JD not throwing the ball to receivers. this is not an opinion. kelly said so and said he had to get on JD about it. we did have a streak in the middle of the season when JD did throw the ball more. This is all a matter of record.

coach Kelly has told us that they worked on this in the offseason and JD is the guy he always wanted him to be. He wasn't that guy against florida state. Yep, he threw for a lot of yards and had a couple of critical balls dropped. but so did FSU, and yet they still scored a lot of td's. we did not. The grambling state game just throw that one out. But we will be playing some real games starting this weekend and JD can be that guy or he can be the guy who won't throw it over the middle or downfield confidently. it's going to happen one way or another. then i have to trust that if the answer is negative coach kelly will have to switch.
I don't see how he avoids it. Honestly we don't know how stubborn he is right now, despite the miles comparisons. with all the issues we had last year we can understand why he stuck with Daniels. If JD comes alive and gets the confidence to toss the ball and our offense really becomes dangerous over the next 3 or 4 games, then we're all happy, and Nuss gets his shot next year. can the rant be patient? hell, no! Geaux Tigers!

The QB "issue", for better or worse, is already settled.

This is the most likely scenario. We would have to lose games for them to make a change at QB & I don’t see that happening. Our offense will get going & that’s not good for the rest of the West

JD is the same guy he was last year. He will have some good moments but he really isn't a great passer.
He can beat Bama then look like crap against A&M and Arky.

He will throw enough to get good stats, and will win us a game or 2 but will also loose us a game or 2 being afraid to throw.

Coaches know he's good enough to win 9 or 10 games. While Nuss gametime play is mostly an unknown to them and will be until JD is gone or injured.

Is what it is.

we don't have a qb issue....just because some fans think the back up is better doesn't mean the staff thinks the same way.

It's been settled ever since Daniels stepped on Campus.

The only qb issue is in some fans minds. There is no issue with the coaching staff.

Lol there is no QB issue from BK nor the staff nor the team.

It’s only among a few bulletin board folks.

Name one time this has happened-where his poor QB play cost us a game.

ETA: I don’t mean games that we lost where he didn’t play great. I mean when the sole reason we lost that game rests on the shoulders of one #5 Jayden Daniels. A “don’t let him back on the bus” game.

Hoping the ‘lightbulb on’ moment doesn’t take until the Florida game this year.

Remember when Kelly also told us Nuss was too good of a quarterback to not get onto the field?

You don’t remember shite about that game if you think everything in it was good enough to win except for JD.

Lmao. Scoring 1 td with 3 mins left just 2 weeks ago I guess is heisman worthy to some on this board.
