setting yourself up to be very upset. 4-2 is what we need, but should not be the expectation given what this team has been so far in 2025.

Totally agree, 4-2 is floor to determine if this team with MM at helm can get over hump

You do know this is the RANT.... don't you?? Here's what's gonna happen from WORSE case to BEST case scenarios.

Best case.... LSU goes 6-0 to close out the regular season. The RANT says... "FIRE MM and bring back WW".

Worse case.... LSU goes 6-0 to close out the regular season. The RANT says.... "WE TOLD Y'ALL. Now fire SW, MM and bring back WW".

yall might think im crazy but there is a path to get to 8 conference wins. If LSU can get to 8, I think they will be in the tourney.Still say that this team is not as bad as people are making it out to be. The league is just that tough.

I don't think you're crazy. However, after reading that, I know you're an idiot.

We have 11 games remaining.

OP is showing the middle season stretch of 6 games.

You’d know that if you were an actual basketball fan.

For people that are tired of hearing Wade, you sure do bring him up a lot. No one said anything about Wade until your post.

optimistic by OP lets hope the last 6 games are not a predictor of the future. I was impressed by MM when he was at Murray St but he has been a disappointment at LSU- in the long line of coaches since Brandy with WW as the exception

You already know where this is headed. The talent level is not horrible but quality depth is a problem. They play hard but lack of creativity rears it’s ugly head all too often. As losses mount does the team quit on McMahon? His rotation leaves plenty to be desired. They are not a well coached bunch.

When has McMahon ever won 6 SEC games in a row?

They need a new coach! The only path to 8 wins is if the other teams all come down ill and have to forfeit there games to LSU.

The fact that this thread has to be started tells you the state of the program.

Did he play at all in the 2nd half? I didn't see him. Missed some of the first half.

He played 3 mins

I think 3-3 should be the bare minimum acceptable because I don’t see us winning any games after that. Those 6 games should show us if it’s worth bringing him back for another year or not

The losses to Vandy at home and @Mizz set the tone.

Missouri is in 3rd place in the conference at 5-2 and is 15-0 overall at home. The fact that people thought it was an “easy” game beforehand does not, in fact, make it so. LSU 6 losses were to 6 of the Top 7 teams in the conference standings (all ranked in the Top 25), 4 on the road. The Vandy loss at home was bad, but many of you are jumping off a bridge over what was just an absolutely brutal starting schedule. No, the program isn’t Top 25, but it also isn’t as bad as 1-6 might appear.

MOST of us have already seen enough to tell where this thing is headed.

3 years is enough time to renovate a college basketball program.

McTepper (Waiting for the 20 point loss to use McHallman) went on that little winning streak last season, so we'll see if he can do it again. (I say No)
