I used to troll (not on TD) a lot. Tiger Ree's fawning over Orgeron is so over-the-top that I've had three people call to ask me if Tiger Ree was my troll.

Ree has stated in other threads that o was only the recruiting coordinator for Miles for a few months when the topic is something related to the depth of certain positions on the team,

So, then it's O's buddy Frank Wilson who's responsible? Nah never...but if Frank starts winning big at UTSA & O starts skidding at LSU, well then, it won't just be Les, it will be Frank's fault too.

so Miles WAS NOT underachieving with all that nfl talent?

Miles is the coach:

any idiot can win 10 games at lsu

look at all that nfl talent he is wasting

miles is the only thing holding us back from winning titles

we are the 2nd most talented team in cfb

MILES ISNT THE COACH

miles really wasnt bringing in talent

you expect 10 wins? spoiled

this is a rebuild

In order to determine whether or not this is an inordinate amount of attrition compare the number of losses we had with the number Bama had.

Since you can only keep 85 at a time, and you bring in 25 or so each yesr; there has to be attrition of some kind.

All these excuse threads have me wondering if I was too optimistic in my 8-4 prediction for this year.

It always amazes me that someone could even have this thought enter their brain, much less express it as an opinion. It was his THIRD season as the coach and he had THREE recruiting classes. IF Orgeron had a successful year, would these same people then say he won with Miles' players?

Most of that NC team consisted of Miles's players, but sure, what you said.

so saban won a title win dinardo's players?

every single player on that roster spent more time under miles than saban.

by all means keep showing everyone youre a miles hating O fellator. im sure after its all over miles' accomplishments will pale in comparison to o's.

Saban won with Shula's players.

Meyer won with Zook's players.

Tressel won with Cooper's players.

Blah, blah, blah...

From the 2014-2016 classes, only 32 signees (44%) remain on the team right now.

Well, the 2014 class would be 5th year seniors, so not sure why he's counting them in there to try and drum up his numbers. Also, let's look at players that left early successfully for the NFL and not count them negatively.

If you look at 4 year players, not including 100% being 5th year seniors from the 2014 class to help prop up some bogus number, you'd see LSU has players that haven't left the program except to go pro and retention rate to date from 2015-2017 classes is 78.4%.

So roughly 22% have left on average the past 3 years, and the worst year had 62.5% retention of at least 3 years. That's pretty damn good when you realize how college football works.

So Shea needs to stop trying to sell a false narrative. Actually, the biggest attrition to these classes happened with O fully in charge, not under Les.

Edited to add that even if you look at the 2014 class, the players that stayed at least 3 years and went pro or didn't leave before 4 years, you are at roughly 77%.

Yet somehow Orgeron and staff managed to win 9 games and should havecc cc won the bowl game. You dimwits are crazy. You act like LSU had a losing season and a terrible recruiting class. Get a grip.

9 Wins against likely LSU's worst schedule in 20+ years isn't much to crow about. The SEC was a complete shitshow last year. LSU had 1 win in the SEC against a team that didn't fire its coach.

I get it......O is a liar.

But let's not for even one moment act like Les routinely told the truth.

Coaches lie....its what they do....it's called survival instinct.

Couldn't agree more!! My little one is a huge Harry Kane fan...I like him too but am more partial to Son, Dele, and Eriksen. We watch the Spurs all the time. Also an Arsenal fan.
I actually still play here in Shreveport at an indoor facility on a couple of teams. Keeps me in shape if nothing else.
