No one hates Nuss. You are conflating frustration and disappointment with something entirely different.

Context matters. He could easily have just entered the portal.

he didn't take this offseason seriously. Didn't put in the work when he literally got a front row seat for JD5

Based on what? There's no proof of this. its internet rumor.

Hating on Nussmeir makes no sense to me.

don't confuse warranted criticism of his inability to do his job and noting how poor his performance is with hate

On the field? ...The Ole Miss 4th Qt and game winner to Lacy... thats about it

but hating the kid

Personally hate the kid? I doubt anybody feels that way.

Hate his play, work ethic, and approach to the game? Yes... especially after hearing how much work JD5 put in during his senior off-season.

My point, Nussmeir loves LSU.
Number one how do you know this? Have you known him personally or is that someone said that you read about? Number two I would love anyplace that paid me millions of dollars even though I never was a big success. You are living in the past if you think any of these players play for anything other than money now and a chance at a pro career later.

He makes over $1,000,000 per year. That is more than a neurosurgeon, except that Neurosurgeon busted his arse for a 4.0 undergrad to get into a med school with a 2% acceptance rate, spent 80 hour weeks for 4 years, then got into neurosurgeon residency which has maybe at tops a 2% acceptance rate, and has put in 70-80 hours weeks for decades, hasn’t slept 8 hours in over 1,000 days. Wtf has Nuss done to out-earn that guy?

Get the frick outta here with that. When you’re making big boy cash, you gotta accept big boy criticism. No one dislikes Nuss as a human morally, it’s his play. The two are separate things and are judged separately.

Telling the truth about how he’s a bad QB doesn’t mean you don’t appreciate him staying a 5th year.

I don't hate him. I just don't think he needs to start. I am not sure he should play again. There is something wrong with his head.

Don't hate him. Want the best for him. He is talented and loves LSU. Unfortunately, he is going to remind me of Todd Kinchen or other similar talents who were screwed by their coaches.

I hate seeing him taking a damn beating every game this year or forced to be superman because we have no running game thanks to Brad Davis.

However, I'm also frustrated in his bonehead decisions or being gun shy to throw passes as he was the other night. I'm frustrated with his playing hurt because it hurt the team as well.

I think he will get a good qb coach in the pros and he will have a nice pro career. I think he is going to surprise some people in the NFL.

Double negative bro. Use a dictionary and find out what “negligible” means before you use it. It’s one thing for people to wonder if you’re an idiot. It’s another to actually put it in writing and remove all doubt.

Nuss was sent out there with no OL & no running game. He had no chance in hell to be successful.

Have a downvote. The kid is soft, and can only throw darts in a perfect situation. CFB isn’t perfect

The "hes a good kid" bullshite went out the windows with his 4 million dollar NIL check. Hes a paid professional and not a very good one. Its not wrong to treat him as such.
