re: Gordon - "BK was fired because it was damaging the LSU Brand"
Posted by RicardoGrande69 on 11/11/25 at 4:43 pm to bayou85
I used to dislike Gordon pre-NIL because of the whole high auto insurance rates in Louisiana item, but G did a number on changing the majority of LSU fans minds about him by being a big NIL/donor steward for LSU. We need every single one of them in this day and age in the NIL era and huge coach salaries.

He makes over $1,000,000 per year. That is more than a neurosurgeon, except that Neurosurgeon busted his arse for a 4.0 undergrad to get into a med school with a 2% acceptance rate, spent 80 hour weeks for 4 years, then got into neurosurgeon residency which has maybe at tops a 2% acceptance rate, and has put in 70-80 hours weeks for decades, hasn’t slept 8 hours in over 1,000 days. Wtf has Nuss done to out-earn that guy?
Get the frick outta here with that. When you’re making big boy cash, you gotta accept big boy criticism. No one dislikes Nuss as a human morally, it’s his play. The two are separate things and are judged separately.
Telling the truth about how he’s a bad QB doesn’t mean you don’t appreciate him staying a 5th year.

Kiffin, Saban, Dillingham. Those 3 are better than some fly by night piece of arse.
re: What round does Nuss get drafted after all this?
Posted by RicardoGrande69 on 11/11/25 at 4:28 pm to nicholastiger
No NFL team will take him in the 4th. Quinn Ewers was 7th round. Danny Etling was 7th round. Seneca Wallace was 7th round. Nuss is 7th round. I snuck one in there, I bet you know which one.

Kenny Dillingham. I’ll take him
This whole situation is ruining BK way more than LSU
Posted by RicardoGrande69 on 11/11/25 at 4:17 pm
LSU will be fine due to resources of recruiting and NIL. BK has just kissed himself to never coach again. And while he may get $35 mil or whatever it is, he’ll always be remembered for this stain. 15 years from now, this will be what people will remember him as. I would be shocked if he got another head coaching job at least at a Power 4.
re: LSU just needs to pay Kelly and move on.

Pay him it all over 6 years, but force him to come in for work everyday, and everyone just ignores him. He just moped around for 6 years while no one ever talks to him.

Okay, then put up the money. It ain’t quite the same when it’s your money huh? Well all money is someone’s money.
re: Saban now the Vegas favorite to be next LSU head coach

Vegas has zero clue about coach searches. There isn’t an algorithm you can put on who the next coach is, or at least a very accurate one.

He made 2 good moves in sports that get the least attention - WBB and Baseball
He made 3 bad moves in biggest sport, but you can easily put a 4x multiplier on each bad move for football.
2-9 is his record as an AD

Kenny Dillingham is a better coach than Heupel
Posted by RicardoGrande69 on 11/10/25 at 9:42 pm
After watching many Kenny Dillingham interviews, he reminds me a ton of Will Wade. He’s incredibly hungry, firey, and younger. The kind that’d walk 50 miles to see a recruit on Christmas. He wants one thing, and that is to win. He’s who I want if Kiffin or Saban don’t workout.
2021/2022 Arizona St went 3-9 and were hit with a scholarship ban due to Herm Edwards aka Tony Dungee illegal recruiting
2022 Jayden and several others transfer out of Arizona St leaving them with mostly backups
1st season was rough 3-9
In just his 2nd season he brought the team to the CFP 11-2, and if there was fair reffing on a targeting by UT safety, it should’ve been Arizona St in the CFP Semi’s. Keep in mind he did this on a scholarship ban, and high school recruits were probably skiddish to commit with the sanctions
This year 6-3
I don’t think Heupel would lead LSU well. Maybe that’s because his physical appearance, but he’d be further down the list for me

I realized Sat. you can single handily cause 3 turnovers w/o even touching the ball on O

Carius Curne
Let DE blow by him who then blew up MVB for a fumble
The should’ve been MVB 1st down was made 4th and inches, he jumped, forced 4th and 5 punt
He also did another one that I can’t pinpoint by either jumping pulling us back 5 yards and next play would’ve been a first before his jump, or it was a hold that blew a 1st
How the heck do you cause 3 turnovers on offense WHEN YOU DONT EVEN TOUCH THE FOOTBALL?

I’d take Kenny Dillingham over Heupel 100 out of 100 days. Having Heupel there shows little ball knowledge beyond Saturday TV watching.

Penn St QB had that WR wide open at 25 hardline and overthrew him. Horrible pass. Execute that and it’s at least OT.

As someone who shops there, my biggest complaint is how there are easily 1,000 people in the store at any given time. Mass chaos. Clueless people who leave cart in middle of aisle blocking passing through. Old people who walk at 0.3 mph blocking you from passing them. People who don’t take the left lane walking. Always apply driving rules to mass grocery store traffic rules. Drivers in parking lot willing to run over people to get to their spot faster. Then at 8 PM, they bring out inventory for next day, huge pallets, blocking 75% of main aisles. That’s disrespectful to your customers. Don’t stack 73 pallets of inventory blocking entire aisles making it a pain for your customers to navigate aisles until after it closes.
The selection is good. Prices are good. It’s just a zoo at the main ones in Houston.
Also, A+ during crawfish season. They’re the only place in Houston that allows you to break sacks and buy like 8 lbs live. And generally have decent crawfish prices.

re: Inability to see 13 days in the past and prior. MVB is clearly, no question, the better QB

Have you watched a single second of Nuss this year if so?
I find him staying admirable. Never a distraction. But the point is to win the game.

I’m saying this legitimately. Not disagree because you don’t like my approach, I’m talking matter of fact. Not approach, but statement.
There isn’t any remote possibility that you think LSU has a better chance to win tomorrow with Nuss over MVB. there is no possible way any of you are really that stupid to think that.
Reasons why:
2 for 28 on passes 12 yards or more downfield
Averaging 17.2 offensive ppg vs Power 4 teams
Complete inability to get outside the pocket when it’s collapsing
Averaging 130th of 136 in FBS with 5.4 yards per pass attempt vs P4 teams
So 130th of 136 in YPA vs Power 4, in addition to 0 ability to scramble.
Meanwhile MVB 3 TD’s on 3 drives. And methodically drove the full field on TAMU, ability to take advantage at those gaping holes on Defense that Nuss refuses to run on. We were in 4th and 10s that 2nd half, the entire half. And then, bam, 7 points. Easy. Wasn’t even hard that drive. He just did it very simply.
Dont even think about the manner in which I’m posting. Think about the content. Just as 2+2 = 4, in a matter of fact sense, I simply refuse to believe that anyone here could legitimately think Nuss gives us a better chance to win. Simply because MVB would have 80 rushing yards with those wide open lanes passing that Nuss gets bc defense knows he won’t run. It clearly showed when MVB came in.
This fan base in my experience is incredibly short sighted. I’ve seen it countless times before, but a player could be horrible, and if there’s a bye week, and we’re 13 days from last game, it’s like they don’t even remember what his play was like 2 weeks prior.
Now, to make this more interesting if you disagree, please, please let’s bet on this. Here’s how we’ll do it: Average yards per play on offense of when Nuss is in vs if MVB gets in. I will bet any of you $100 each, if you think that Nuss averages more yards per play while being QB vs MVB.

Not Golesh.
Kenny Dillingham took over Arizona St where they got a scholarship ban and went 3-9 under Herms last year. And in 2 years on a scholarship ban, he got them in the CFP and an OT away from the Semis. He’s best outside Kiffin and Saban. Super hungry demeanor, coach. He’s our guy.
Golesh would be a very disappointing hire.

I put this on other posts, but here’s to hoping LSU power brokers read this.
