The fact that LSU hasn’t issued a press release is probably good

My thinking was if Ensminger was going to be OC, it would have been released right after the game.
Hopefully they are conducting a real search if Canada is indeed gone.

They're still trying to find a way to get rid of Canada without paying him his full buyout is my guess. If they could fire him with cause they could do this but obviously that's not the case.
If he's not willing to let them off the hook and negotiate a modified buyout then their hands are tied.

It means that this isn't close to being resolved.
The fact that Canada isn't officially gone, means that Orgeron doesn't have the power to do that on his own. Everyone knows that's what Orgeron wants.

they are ironing out the buyout terms. i expect an announcement later today or tomorrow. new hire will be announced shortly after.

Canada should have them by the balls. They owe him 3 million and after he sues for having to work is a hostile work environment and defamation of character he could be sitting on about 5 million

According to The Advocate, Canada did not leave on the team bus post game. Or at least that was insinuated as it read" Canada walked away from the team bus with his family."

If he successfully sues for this, it should be enough to get O and Alleva fired for cause.
Pretty sure “actions directly bringing public embarrassment to the university” would qualify.
