Whatever Eddie O wants him to run

So something like this, then?

Hasn't Ensminger said outright that he doesn't want to be the OC full time?
I don't read many sports forums, but on the college football sub-Reddit, the attitude is firmly anti-UF. The only ones really defending the situation are those with Gator flair, and even some UF fans think they weasled their way out of a rout.

We never ran a spread offense last night. We ran a pro style offense with a pro style QB.

Maybe it's cos, given what we're used to, anything that isn't 2 TE's and a FB out of the I with one wide seems like a spread.

So....what was Miles response?

Something like "If Chi hadn't dropped 2 passes we'd have been 5/8, which is pretty efficient."
JSU is no slouch, but let's not pretend that they can hang around for 4 quarters. It'll probably be close for the first half, then midway through the 3rd we'll start to pull away as depth becomes an issue for them.

We'll get out-coached, but eventually we'll out-talent them and grind out a slow victory on the backs of Guice and Brosette.

There it is. I love that Miles is a quality individual whose players would go to war for him, but we're past ready for a coach with that killer instinct.

"Coach, we're up by a field goal late in the third. Time to shut things down and grind the clock, right?"

"Heck no! We're going for the throat boys!"

they call "change" running the RB on a wheel route or faking an end around.

I was reading an article this morning that mentioned that there were at least 'wrinkles' added, and two of the examples were the wheel to Fournette and throwing to the tight end.

Two bog-standard, basic plays are considered a 'wrinkle' in our offense now.
Navy style triple-option attack with Harris/Guice/Fournette.

Unstoppable.
The strange thing is that Sallee is usually very positive on LSU.

This makes no sense

I think they're saying that if Harris improves his accuracy and short throws, he'll be an attractive draft prospect and leave school early, leaving Etling as the presumed starter.

And how do you know that Les changes the plays?

During the fiasco last week, a few former players confirmed that Miles often overrides the playcall.

if only ole miss hadn't scored 43 points on them in T-town

if only they weren't tired against tennessee, they wouldn't have to come from behind to win

Eventually it gets into John Madden territory.

"Y'know monsterballads, if the Tigers score more points than the Tide, they have a really good chance of winning this football game!"

Once they lace up and have to tackle LF7 they will change their minds.

Just like Rudy Ford.

And you were wrong.

The article says that Miles told Harris on Saturday, which was the 29th, so they were technically correct. The best kind of correct.

Aikman did throw a nice spiral but no one threw a more prettier spiral than Warren Moon.

That pass at 1:40 was just beautiful.

He's pressing even in these practice drills.

He probably sees the writing on the wall. Seeing how Harris has progressed vs. himself, he's probably desperate now to hold on to even a chance at the starting job.
JL is easily tied with Jacob Hester for my #1 favorite Tiger of my lifetime. Both of them were tremendous players, tremendous teammates, and unfailingly reliable when a play needed to be made.

I'm more concerned that he was scrambling out the pocket and there was not even a defender breaking free

That was my major concern from this as well. He seems to have the clock going pretty well in his head, but he still looks to scramble if there isn't immediate pressure.

It's strange, because last year he hung in the pocket and threw a few strikes with a defender barreling down on him.
