So I read it and Charles Turner is saying that he never talked X's & O's with BK and that they didn't have a personal relationship.

Asking former staffers that were fired are unhappy is such a hack job.
Charles turner is on the practice squad for the pats? He can kick rocks. Guy sucked

What specifically in that article do you disagree with?

Article was pretty mild, I was expecting more of a hit piece. Nothing in there that I see as blatantly unfair, more that he is having some challenges. Surprised Turner allowed them to name him.

Who cares? His reputation may be only losing the big one, but LSU he has lost plenty of little ones.

Besides being boys with Coach O, why does Feldman hate BK so much? Like holy crap man, leave the guy alone. This is like is 3rd hit piece on BK in 2 years, and they all seem to be an obvious stretch.

Feldman didn't even have LSU as a playoff team this year, now they're suddenly "below expectations."
That was his prediction, not expectations. LSU’s preseason win total was at 9.5

I'd like to bash these writers:
TBH, the article really wasn't that bad though.

Only 15 members of the class are still with the team. Most notably, five-star defensive lineman Lance Heard from Monroeville, La, transferred to Tennessee, where he starts.

The comments from Turner are somewhat damming. This a guy that started for him for 2 years saying he may not be the right guy for the job.
Idk, the CEO thing where guys have to schedule appointments with their head coach and don't have any relationship with players. When he goes after a guy like he did Hilton, that damn well may sour the players on him. If the players feel like they've got no personal bond with him, you can't come after a player like that. They've got no buy in with that coach. They're not going to rally around him feeling like he's got their backs and is coaching them up. It's gonna feel like this is an a-hole that's got no involvement with us and then runs up on our guy cursing in his face.

You just described the best coach to ever live in Nick Saban. He's their coach, not their best friend.

My guess: Notre Dame is held highly in the media. It’s the big Catholic school. They couldn’t believe someone would leave there to go coach LSU and paint ND bad in the media.
The NYT loathes the Catholic Church. Try again on your rationale.

Kelly brought with him from Notre Dame an accountability system for the players, which rewards and penalizes things such as timeliness, dress code, health and wellness check-ins and taking nutritional supplements. Players are either above the line or below the line, and being below can result in a loss of playing time. “You can’t be late for meetings. You’ve got to take your vitamins every day. You have to do a wellness check-in app on your phone every day, and for (some of) these guys it’s a foreign language to them,” the former staffer said.
I’m not a Kelly fan and think we can do better but this bit is kinda lame and insulting to our players in a way.
Are they trying to say that our players are too dumb or too unable to be disciplined that expectations of off the field behavior at Notre Dame can’t work at LSU?
It’s insulting to the players and indicates what they think about people in Louisiana.

I think it probably has more to do with how his teams lose rather than that his teams lose.
In the majority of his losses at lsu at least, his teams just get totally out classed and look extremely unprepared.

He made the big one once and got destroyed because he had no business being there.
At ND he was gifted awful schedules that allowed him to look better than he is. At LSU, he doesn’t have the luxury of only one, maybe two games against legitimate competition.
3 games a year to the service academies alone shows you their schedule.
Army, Navy and Air Force are mediocre to bad teams.
You are seeing the same thing in the Big Ten as always. Three teams with a pulse and they are overrated by playing an awful schedule.
The SEC mid tier teams are nearly on par with the Big Ten and ND’s best opponents of which there are only 1-3 a year.
PSU is a perfect example of this. They are a garbage team but at the top of the garbage heap year in and year out.

I mean we had two players suspended against Florida for these exact type of things…
Isn’t the whole reason he came to LSU that he couldn’t get the same players because off the field requirements were too much at ND?
