Comparing the weather in Austin on Saturday night w/ BTR:

7:51 PM in Austin: 93 degF, 57 degF DP, 92 degF heat index

7:53 PM in BTR: 87 degF, 73 degF DP, 94 degF heat index

Baton Rouge probably hasn't seen a dew point in the 50s since April.

Multiple people have used the heat in Austin to explain the poor defense in the 2nd half and cramps. BTR was hotter than Austin on Saturday.

The humidity was so low there, that it actually made it feel cooler then the air temp.

The heat wasn't something that should have surprised us.

Not a difficult concept.

I was under the impression that teams must provide equal equipment. Side line fans, coolers, radios etc. Does this not apply to locker room AC?

heat index is BS. Means exactly zero. absolute temp is what counts.

Counts for what?

You obviously don't understand heating/cooling effects. The amount of moisture in the air has a significant effect. BTR is on another level humidity wise than Austin. And it matters.

Not denying is was hot. But had we played in TS, it would have been even hotter.

No doubt, if there was no AC in our locker room, that's an issue.

didn't they say the dry heat was part of the problem. The players didn't hydrate the way they would have in BR due to the lack of soaking sweat like you would get in a humid heat. IN dry heat the sweat evaporates and you don't notice it as much and thus don't hydrate the way you should.

LMAO! The fricking A/C was working. You really fell for that shite excuse for LSU's D players faking cramps 20 times in the game to try to stop Texas momentum on offense? Why wasn't their O players cramping up?

It’s called being on the field for over 20 minutes and playing 51 defensive snaps all in the second half....Texas D was on the field for 9 minutes....those baws got scored on so fast they had no time to cramp
