! The fricking A/C was working. You really fell for that shite excuse for
Well considering LA Tech warned them to bring fans, Jacob Hester even said they had to move their interviews out of the locker room because it was hotter than being outside. I would say UTexass AD was full of shite.
Or it worked but wasnt turned on

Lived in south LA most my life and it feels way hotter in Austin at night. Don’t care what the dew point is or dry heat or whatever. It is damn hot and unrelenting. I much prefer the summer weather in south LA.

It’s called being on the field for over 20 minutes and playing 51 defensive snaps all in the second half....Texas D was on the field for 9 minutes....those baws got scored on so fast they had no time to cramp
I guess Texas O players should have been dropping like flies too; especially, their Oline...They weren't though. Maybe your team has a conditioning issue...
Someone's lieing about the A/C. The Texas AD had it tested and said it is working. Orgeron saying he called his buddy and blah blah blah, but they were at the stadium for hours before the game and didn't complain to anyone at Texas that mattered about the A/C? Sounds fishy too me. Didn't complain until after the game? LA Tech didn't complain at all after they played them..
My guess is, the word is getting out that your coach had the players fake cramps a half a hundred times to try to kill Texas momentum and it is making him look like a laughing stock so now he concocts this story about the A/C...

Not me. Back in lake Charles a few weeks ago visiting family and the humidity was so damn thick.. miserable hot and sweating way more than in 25% humidity Austin.
The explanation before about the players not hydrating makes sense. No a/c makes it worse. Then they start dropping everywhere in the 4th quarter. Joe saved us.

What does Baton Rouge have to do with this?
That's where we practice. There was nothing about the Austin weather that was more severe to play football in than what we're accustomed to.
The heat should've been a non-factor.

LSU WON THE FOOTBALL GAME WHY ARE WE TILL TALKING ABOUT THIS?
There were some problem fix them and move on geez.

It was hot as shite there with no breeze, if you weren’t there then stfu. At least in BR we might get some wind and help from the gulf. You could not stand in the sun without shade for very long. I’m used to Louisiana heat but it felt worse because it didn’t cool off much at all after sun went down

Bring that pussy bitch arse back to texass. 45-38 you hoe

Dude the fricking locker room wasn’t working! What don’t you understand about that? Don’t give me some bull shite 2 degree temp difference!
So, now it turns out the whole damned locker room was broken? Lord, I didn't think it could get any worse. I have no idea how we left Austin with a win.

Water moisture and temp are related????

Says who? The athletic director? Seems to be his word against two coaches from different teams.
Also, this isn’t something Coach made up after the game. He discussed it in his Thursday press conference too...before the game. GFY

I've lived in Louisiana and Houston for most of my life. The heat in Austin on Saturday was insane.

Jesus...how many of you don't understand how this works?
When moving from high humidity heat to low, several things happen - most notably it doesn't feel as hot to you, and your sweat evaporates. Your entire gauge for how much fluid you are losing is off. You don't feel like you've lost as much liquid because the sweat isn't as bad.
Its not until its too late that you realize you're dehydrated.
If you aren't hydrating an an accelerated pace compared to what your mind and body are telling you, you will be in trouble.
Our guys should never have been asked - IVs should have been the choice unless someone opted out specifically. Hydration should have been pushed even if they said they weren't thirsty.
Also, isn't Texas' field turf? Thats a lot hotter than grass. Not as bad as the old astro-turf, but still hotter than natural grass.

I was there. It was hotter than a day game in tiger stadium. I cramped and didn’t play one down.
Side note.. that stadium seating is beyond ridiculous. Had to leave my seat in the 3rd to get air.

I’ve lived in both places and I don’t care what the weather said for one day, Austin is much hotter. We have to plan shite around the heat. I’ve never done that Baton Rouge.
Not that it matters in regards to the cramping

It truly comes down to humidity levels. Temperature wise both cities are nearly identical. I don’t get why people think it’s 25-30 degrees warmer than Baton Rouge. Maybe 7-10 degrees, at most but way less humid/dewpoint.
Posted on 9/10/19 at 4:00 am to omegaman66
The heat wasn’t necessarily the problem, but the field was turf and that’s just hot rubber radiating that heat and feels 20 degrees hotter
Posted on 9/10/19 at 6:01 am to Ttazhorn
Why wasn't their O players cramping up?
26 second drives?
