Lyle Mouton played bball didnt he?
Lyle actually was a starter one year in basketball and was a fair 3pt shooter. Concentrated on baseball after his sophomore season. Good move.

I am severely disappointed in the Rant and on a Friday no less.
It took 15 posts for Ben Voogd's name to come up.

Juemicheal young never played for LSU, Beshaera was a decent player during lean years, Thompson was every walk ons dream, Misha Mitokovich though not what he was hyped to be, had some good games

SOPHOMORE SEASON (2001-02)
Injured early in the season, saw action in only 12 games ... Averaged 1.8 points per game and 0.6 rebounds per game ... Played an average of 6.3 minutes per game ... Missed first 12 games of the season before seeing first action against Nicholls State, scoring a season high eight points in 11 minutes (Dec. 30) ... Hit 3-of-5 field goals, including one trey and one free throw ... Would score in four other games: 6 at Florida (Jan. 16), 2 at Mississippi State (1-26), 3 at Iowa (NIT, 3-13) and 2 versus Ball State (NIT, 3-19) ... Hit 8-of-21 field goal attempts (38.1 percent), including two treys ... After not playing since the Arkansas game on Feb. 16, played in both March NIT post-season games, hitting field goal attempts in both games.
There is your Jumichael Young statsHe did indeed play for LSU

I can't believe a guy named Snake played for LSU
Posted on 1/30/09 at 4:12 pm to gizmoflak
Wasn't Corey Webster also supposed to play bball with Spears and Clayton?

Neboisha Bukumirovich. 1984-1988.
Supposedly, Dale Brown thought he was a sharp-shooting 6-8 guard from then Yugoslavia...and Dale recruited him sight unseen. When he showed up he was a fairly slow 6-4 guard w/ average skills.

I was a student in Brown's latter years during his recruit the ole communist bloc kick (rubcheko/mutahvich). Not that they were bad players, but we probably could have gotten equally or more talented players from LA

And he couldn't dribble!

i can take being wrong.... really thought he left before ever playing, prob b/c it was around same time that shawnson johnson left b4 playing in a real game...
Posted on 1/30/09 at 5:56 pm to lsutiger4life
But hey looking at Young's stats you can probably argue that he didn't play.

my man, are you sure Todd Kinchen played bball for the tigers? I don't remember that. As for the guy that said Brian was fired by espn, that's bullshite. He was suspended but decided not to return. I should know. He's the Godfather of my son.
Eta: just got confirmation that Todd did play briefly which I guess I'd forgotten. It doesn't surprise me. He was a hell of a player.
