LSU SENIORS
Posted by turtleman8 on 3/22/09 at 11:15 am
Hats off to all the seniors. These guys will be missed next season. I hate to lose Thorton and his shooting ability, but man Temple will be missed. Temple is the kind of kid any coach would enjoy having. Hard worker, unselfish, relentless on defense, and hard nose defensive player. I'll never forget his defensive lockdown on JJ Redick. Not many kids like to play defense these days, many kids want the spotlight, but Temple was truly a role player. He knew his role on the team and he played it well. So thank you seniors, you will be missed. You guys gave it a great run, we just lost to a better team. I'm excited for the future with Coach Johnson running the show. Geaux Tigers

The kid needs to get with A-Rod and get some of the performance enhancers. Kid needs to come correct if he wants to compete with the big boys for a foul ball.

Temple needs to look to score more. Take some pressure off Taz and Marcus

He won't go anywhere. Nevada was a small school, and Stanford would not pay him. We go throw money at him and it is easier to recruit here. He'll be around for some time I think

Temple in the Second half

Was outstanding. He was more aggressive on offense and actually looking to score. He played solid defense as usual. I hope he keeps looking to score more and take some pressure off Tas and Marcus. Great job today Mr. Temple

I'd go with Machine Head by Bush. Wally Pontiff had that one. I'd use that to honor Wally.
Which recruit would you want??
Posted by turtleman8 on 2/6/09 at 8:24 pm
In an old fashioned street brawl. Anything goes. I'm going with Downs. Mingo is my second choice.

LSU and no other.
Lane Kiffin is an idiot

Dude needs to learn the rules in the SEC. What he said was a recruiting violation is not. I already hate this jack@@@. He likes to run his mouth and I hope he gets his a@@ handed to him this year. To hell with Kiffin and the Vols. :spank:
re: Shepard can sign a movie deal with all this exposure!

Just saw an interview with him on ESPN 2. I love this kid. He's so well spoken and sounds really motivated and excited about being a Tiger.
Who is your fav recruit that signed??
Posted by turtleman8 on 2/4/09 at 12:16 pm
Mine is Craig Loston. He will be a beast. :dude:
Who was your favorite basketball player???
Posted by turtleman8 on 1/30/09 at 6:22 pm
I'd have to go with Randy Livingston. Would have loved to see him at LSU injury free.
What are Trent Johnson's chances??
Posted by turtleman8 on 1/30/09 at 6:11 pm
How do you guys like our chances of signing DeMarcus Cousins and Renardo Sidney?? If we could get these two guys I think we'll have one of the best classes. Cousins is rated as the #2 overall recruit. Ludwig and Dotson will be solid contributors as well.

But hey looking at Young's stats you can probably argue that he didn't play.
