Lots of PO'ed Tiger Band Alums (And other Alums) that don't like the current prevalent attitude of the Athletic Department (And Music School) and the their "Deemphasis" of wanting to have a really great marching band.
PIM, Curley Hallman/Willie Taggart level Directors and Talley/Queen in the Music School are all you need to know.

Just received a response from the director. They want to make it happen, as the athletic department is seeing what they can do to work it out. I took it as we really want to go if we have the funds. Hopefully they organize a way for donors to provide help.

Pissing off the LSU fans willingly traveling to California in the middle of pandemic. Seems like the type of decision only the customer service department at DirectTV or United Airlines would make. One more reason LSU isn’t getting another dime from me.

That is BS.... total BS..Not often kids get a trip to CA. I never had any desire to good to CA but went when I was in my mid 20s because my wifes uncle had a beachhouse in Dana Pt. Nigel Shores. The water was like Destin All the time but the waves were like
Hawaii 5 O ! Told friends when i got back it was Destin with cliffs ! It was worth it to go play in those monster waves. If you never went but have the money go, and go to Laguna Beach area. The Strands was were we swam because it was at Uncs. place but it also was the best beach in SOCAL ! So Yeah these kids are getting FUkD !
