Confusing. We’re in the lead and Eyanson can simply pitch tomorrow. Not making a lot of sense

Keep Eyanson away from this game. LSU can get 2 more from Kade and close it out, last 2 innings. Hell we might not even need another run.

He will pitch tonight and both starters are ready to start next weekend in whatever order is needed. Full rest.

He's going to get all of the high leverage guys work tonight then shut them down for a week+ of rest.
If it looks like a guaranteed win, he may hold a couple for tomorrow.

Is the thought to ensure he pitches in an actual game this week? One day is not much a difference for time off before regional.

Helmers said in that podcast that the 4 seed might hit lefties better and since we don’t know who we will be facing yet, it’s better to do it this way and have both Anderson and Eyanson available

Get both some work and hopefully the win. Then see who steps up this weekend and wants to contribute in the postseason. Competition is a good thing.

If LSU puts up some runs this inning, I think Kade comes back out. If it is still a 2 run game, I think the odds of seeing Eyanson go up.
