Jay teed up the 9-hole for Schmidt and he fricking walked him. That’s an execution problem and not a coaching problem.

Sometimes I don’t think these pitchers understand situation. You don’t walk the 9 hole hitter with two outs to flip the lineup over.

I got downvoted to shite a while back for being mad that sometimes we bring in pitchers who literally can’t throw strikes. And now we’ve walked the bases loaded.

Gotta find guys that can throw strikes. Not everyone has to be 6’10 250 that throws 100.

We don’t do get a legit pitching coach Schmidt entire career might be derailed coming to school and tank getting future studs to school

It’s good coaching, IMO. Trying to set him up to succeed and build confidence
