Baker is not an elite or top 15 defensive coordinator….good but not great…if you watched Kiffins post game, he was coming to that realization real-time

Kiffin continues to prove that his offense will move the ball and score….definitely some questionable calls but no need to worry about the offense….he’s doing this with ZERO elite receiver talent

Sam has overcorrected for his propensity to run and missed some wide open lanes to run thru….Seaton pancaked his guy one drive and Sam tried to stay in the pocket too long…he needs to find a good balance somewhere in the middle

Team was cold and not ready to start the game….not sure if that’s a reflection of Kiffin or not but just didn’t look prepared to play in a hostile environment

As you move thru the next 5-7 years, still happy that Kiffin is the Head Coach

Same as the Ole Miss game. One game is a fluke. Two games is a pattern.

I am not shitting on Kiffin, Saban was 6-6 his first year at bama just like Kiffin will be.

But baker and his prevent defense aka soft zone has prevented us from beating Ole Miss, has prevented us from beating Kentucky, will prevent us from getting to the playoffs, will prevent us from reaching any of our goals, and will prevent me from watching this shite show anymore. This season live anyway.

LSU is still a playoff caliber team and nobody wants to see them in the playoffs if they make it.

Baker has proven time after time, season after season, he is an average DC.
Yet LSU fans think he is a genius. Proving why Louisiana is ranked dead last in education.

Oh and the Redzone offense is dogshit. Doesn’t matter if they can get up and down the field if you can’t score TDs when you need them.

I wonder if Baker understands his own schemes at times. The two point conversion defense was pathetic.

I’m going to stay out of the defensive coordinator rankings. I have no idea where Baker ranks. I do know that he was outcoached in this game. Kentucky is nowhere near the most talented and best coached team we will play this year. Baker has some soul-searching to do. He has to coach better. He’s paid to coach much better.

Agree, went backwards when we got inside the 10….need to have a killer instinct down there

Help me understand the logic in this: when Sam Lovett had two turnovers and they were basically near the red zone, Kentucky got a touchdown on a punt return, and they also got eight points in overtime in a game that should have been ended by our offense. I would seriously love to hear you back that up and then tell me which team really did better against Kentucky given that information. Last time I checked, without the punt return for a touchdown, LSU's defensive performance against Kentucky was at least as good as Alabama's was.

Maybe he should come to the realization that his offense should be able to pick up 1 yard and figure out how to score TDs in the redzone and run out a 4 min clock. Actually just any of the 3 would've won the game

Kentucky missed 2 field goals and the punt return TD gave the ball right back to the LSU offense…Kentucky converted several long 3rd downs…Kentucky had the LSU defense guessing all night….and when Kentucky needed to, they drove right down the field twice….want me to keep going?

What in the hell is this shite? Absolute clown show. They converted a 3rd and 9 on a running play! lol

Bama scored 32 the 2nd half, Kentucky scored 0.

It was a bad game. Blake Baker is absolutely a top 15 DC, again one bad game. He lost the heart and lungs of his D in Weeks and that has been huge. Keys just isn’t on Whit and TJ’s level at LB. Both those guys will play on Sunday next year. We have to be more disciplined and execute, plain and simple. Our talent is there. I do hate we don’t have a true #1 WR with Trey’Dez out. Jackson Harris looks like he has potential but Watkins drops too many balls. We need both our #7s back badly and I think we get Green back possibly for Auburn but most likely Bama. Whit maybe for Tennessee.

Why didn’t they use Deuce Geralds when they needed short yardage? Or at least QB sneak with Deuce and maybe Grace doing the “tush push.” Seems like something Kiffin would do just as an FU moment

My biggest issue is our zone defense. It has caused IMO, our two losses.
