Tell me again why we needed a 102k capacity stadium?

Oh yeah, I forgot. To keep up with Alabama.

Stadium is overbuilt. Too many tickets flooding the market, too many empty seats for 3/4 of the games. But it's built. Not getting any smaller. This is the new normal.

And yeah, we have too many LSU season ticket holders who have no interest in attending the games. I'll get blasted for that, but it was on full display yesterday.

Can't you be happy for even 24 hours after that win?

It’ll be at capacity when the roads and traffic issues are fixed.

Those that sold they're tickets should be embarrassed. If you can't afford the tickets and money is that tight, just give them up.

Why must people find something to bitch about after every single game. The team dominated. The stadium was rocking. We beat the tar out of Georgia, a previously undefeated, number 2 ranked team. Why are some of you so damned negative?

Is OP a season ticket holder who attends every game? If not, you are the problem.

The actual attendance numbers would be eye opening for some people. Somehow someone got LSU to release the actual attendance numbers from 2008-2012 or sometime around then when the stadium was 92,000. It was extremely rare for LSU to break 80,000.

So your admitting that it will never be at capacity.

7-8 years ago you would have 92K in stadium and another 60K outside stadium tailgating for big games. Alleva policies have pretty much killed all that.

I'm as happy as can be about the big win. I stayed the whole game. I'm asking a serious question though. I realize you probably didn't get the full picture of the stadium from your recliner. My apologies.

People in Louisiana are inherently unhappy and negative. That’s one of the reasons I got the hell out. It’s one of the most unhapppystates in surveys that are done. People vote against their own self interests and then bitch about their lot in life.

I’d rather sell two or three nationally broadcast games and attend the rest for free.

Is that wrong?

Dafuq are you talking about. There were about fifty total Georgia fans on the west side lower. The East had a few more. Georgia fans were concentrated in the NEZ visitor section and in the “frying pan” seats of the east upper.
