Each expansion has been to accommodate more premium seating which generates more revenue.

Lots of stadiums are overbuilt now. Attendance has suffered at all levels including the NFL. It's been trending this way for years. HDTV with 60 to 80" displays and the comfort of your home is hard to beat.

Being in championship contention would help. Playing Michigan rather than SLU would help. Nevertheless it wouldn't solve the problem.

The expansion resulted in additional suites (super nice ones I might add) and stadium club seating. The revenue from those far out way any regular seats that may go unused. Lsu is coming out ahead as long as they sellout those premium seats. Trust me.

I don't think there is anything that can be done to get it to capacity anymore, other than the biggest of the big games.

LSU makes it so hard to attend the games. The parking, the destruction of tailgating, etc. Yesterday, I sat in line for 30 minutes just to get through the gates. That was new.

If #2 UGA can't get people to show up, it will never happen.

Ignore the Georgia fans. The empty spaces everywhere in the east lower and upper was terrible. This was in the 2nd quarter.

Meh, we were also named the happiest state not long ago beating out Hawaii. I think you may confusing a handful of morons on this site with reality. Most of the people I know that live here are quite happy. If living here wasn't for you, no worries, we live in a big country/world. However, equating Slippy or MUNCHROCKS or SleauxJeaux to the real world doesn't compute for me. Besides, after 2016, do you really trust polls? Hell, CFN has us ranked behind A&M and Kentucky this morning. Polls are meaningless in these times. Just my .02.

Well then you’re really not going to like the NEZ Upper Deck expansion in 2022.

Ever heard of heat stroke?

The old man who sits in front of me had to leave the game before half time. I'm sure some of the people were getting out of the sun.

Don't criticize people until you've sat over there frying in the sun.

I have an October sunburn.

It's mind boggling how the LSU administration does not get it. LSU blames comfort of own home, big TV's etc. That's not it. Those same things existed 7-8 years ago and there would be 180K on campus for Bama game with 60-70K tailgating during the game.

My tailgate had 200 people and 60 would stay and watch the game on TV and keep a keg company. Tailgating and parking policies has destroyed my tailgate and many others at LSU.

Administration just doesn't get it

You could not be more wrong. I travel the country for work. You’re truly 100% absolutely wrong! I’ve been to every single state and most noteworthy countries. Louisiana is the most joyful state I’ve even stepped foot into. It’s the people that make it such an amazing place to live. It’s not the weather or anything else, it’s the joy of life that I see here everyday.

Just can’t believe how clueless you are.

They’re the best team in the country.
They’re making this look easy.

Here’s a combo:
They’re losing their shite over there on the Georgia sideline.

We've played many a game during the day in the past and the east side would be full for the big ones. Idk, yesterday was a little weird.

True! Houston is half Louisiana folks or so it seems. Go to any neighborhood and those inviting other neighbors to get together, cook out, etc..are all from Louisiana.

It's just the politics and corruptness and the state refusing to invest in education and health care or anything else. But it's the same people electing such horrible polticians
