Which games are not nationally broadcast?

So this is just a business decision for you. Got it.

Oh yeah, I forgot. To keep up with Alabama.

Stadium is overbuilt. Too many tickets flooding the market, too many empty seats for 3/4 of the games. But it's built. Not getting any smaller. This is the new normal.

And yeah, we have too many LSU season ticket holders who have no interest in attending the games. I'll get blasted for that, but it was on full display yesterday.

All of this is 100% true. The stadium’s capacity shouldn’t be higher 93K. They need to go in and make ever seat wider and take out a couple thousand seats that way.

I really don’t understand what’s going on with this board.

People leaving early = ok, you paid, you leave when you want
People selling tickets on stub-hub = shitty fan, you shouldn’t buy tickets if you dont go to the game
Pointed out Tiger Stadium has over expanded = downvoted like crazy

The stadium was great. The weather was great. The win was great. My kids were 5 feet from the sorority chicks screaming STTDB.

I think 100k seat stadiums are a thing of the past, But yesterday was great

It was just bad timing. Demand changed about the time it was finished.

“ people in Louisiana or inherently unhappy and negative”

As someone who’s been to a lot of different areas of this country, I say BS. People in this state are always finding reasons to socialize and enjoy life. Be it two guys fishing off the boat in the swamp or 100 people at a crawfish ball.

There’s a mighty big difference between frustration over a sports team and frustration over your life.

Wider seats would be nice. It’s a tight fit for a guy currently.

You are correct young man. When Saban first came to LSU he said the same thing. In order to be successful in BR the negativity had to stop. I am sure every fan base has it's number negative fans but not like LSU. When the stadium was voted on to enlarge it to 102k. We were in the lime light and coming off if Sabans recruiting. Les rode that wave until it crashed 3 yrs. ago. We were selling out most games before than. Mean while the economy of the state was doing just ok. Our crooked politicians didn't invest the states money into diversifying our business base. Instead they basically stoke the money in the form of the General Fund. Just look at the roads in La. BR is prime example. People avoid this state because of the I-10 f-up coming off the BR bridge. There is only one way thru BR. I moved to Houston because I couldn't do it anymore. Commuting from Covington to Houston weekly. Until you get a honest governor who will Drain The Louisiana Political Swamp, you will stay third world. Saban was right about the negativity.

Did you see what those tickets were fetching on stub hub? I would have sold mine too.

Ultimately the seats will be retrofitted to be a little wider and the capacity will be brought down to sub- one hundred thousand. You will see more areas like the South Stadium standing areas built.
