Jay needs to consider changing it up this weekend against state. Swap crews and white in the lineup as well.

Why would you put the nation’s rbi leader in front of the player with the nations highest OBP and batting average? That makes 0 sense.

Just like much of the weekend it seemed we kept putting ourself behind the 8 ball time and time again.

Come post season, the pendulum can swing back and 7 of the 9 in our lineup are all hot simultaneously.

Team was all hot early, 2-3 would go cold while 2-3 would go hot. Where we are now. We need 6-7 heating up coming out of the SEC tourney.

If we were peaking and hitting on all cylinders right now, I’d be a bit concerned because slumps are inevitable and hot streaks can only last so long.

Have to get hot at the right time. I don’t think tinkering with the order is needed. Especially Crews and White

I really Do think changing everything because of 2 games is a really good idea.

Although I am Wondering if Hued gets another weekend start

Swap the guy with the best OBP in the nation and the best RBI guy in the nation? No thanks.

I'm not sure what to do with Hurd. I'd like him to be our Saturday starter but do we risk messing up a good thing? He's finally started to pitch well out of the pen. This is why the coaches get paid the big bucks I guess

Yeah, Little is not that guy right now. He's a junior. We know what he's good for every game: putting a bunch of people on base and getting saved by great fielding. He's good for a few innings in relief but just can't be trusted to start.

Leave the batting order alone. Don’t fix something that is not broken but has just sputtered temporarily.

I would start Guidry on the weekend because I was hoping that Hurd would be our closer.

We don’t need a designated closer. We need a guy who can give us 3-4 innings in the beginning of a game so the offense can get a lead instead of being down 6 runs every Sunday

I don't give a shite who the third starter is, as long as the Little experiment is over.

We haven’t had much news for a closer the last couple games. I’d rather a second quality starter if possible.

The idea that anyone can be saved for the bullpen when we have 1 starter is a luxury.

Put Skenes starting Sunday to try to win that game. Put white batting first to get that rbi leader more at bats. Put crews batting 9th for that second lead off spot.

Call me crazy, but I’d consider Riley Cooper as a starter. He’s nothing special, but he doesn’t walk a ton of guys. Maybe Guidry, but I like him out of the bullpen more.

Hurd can’t get through the lineup once. He’s a 6-7 batter max right now.

Musk if that’s fair.

His issue has just been finding the strike zone and either he’s been able to and been good or he hasn’t and been terrible even the first time through a lineup.
