Assuming Arky wins, they struggled mightily against both in the regular season. Would be a recipe for success, really don’t want to go to a game 4 to save arms for the natty.

Cowan has regressed mightily since then. Everyone knows what his offspeed is.

Depends on if the wind is blowing in or out. If blowing in, I'd start him and watch it rain flyouts.

Not entirely true. Aggie was before Arkansas and they hit Cowan real good and the next week Arkansas looked like they had never seen a changeup before.

The park is perfect for Cowan

Cowan pitching in this park would be a good option. If he just throws strikes, I think his stuff plays in Omaha.

I like it. Just get eyanson ready because they may tee of on Cowan.

Tomorrows game is not as important as the next day.

I would save Eyanson for Thursday or the finals.

Don't hate this at all.

If Cowan is throwing well and you have a lead after 4-5. Bring in Eyanson and let him do some damage. If Arkansas blasts Cowan and Root is dealing for Arkansas, then throw in Schmidt, Rizy, Primeaux, Ware and have Kade & Eyanson ready for Thursday.

Noot threw 10 less pitches than Eyanson did. Noot is going tonight on two days rest. Not out of the question Jay throws Eyanson out there tomorrow for 60-80 pitches and keep Anderson for Thur if necessary.
If LSU wins Wed, Kade gets the ball in Gm 1 of Finals and Eyanson can come back for Gm 3

I’d say it is very important. I would think it’s fairly obvious that we would rather not have to burn Anderson for the finals against coastal/osu by winning the next game instead.

No no no

Eyanson all day and Shores behind him. 44 pitches ? So what. We lose, run Anderson out there on Thursday.

If they’re able to go, I think you have to bring shores or eyanson out in the 9th if you have a small lead.
Finish it off and get the staff 2 whole days to Saturday.
Only if you have a lead late and Jay feels they can give you something.

I think it woudl be dumb to throw Eyanson tomorrow, especially now that Ar-Kansas is throwing Root today.
they'll be throwing bullpen arms the whole game tomorrow, if they even beat UCLA and their sissy infield hits. We can beat either team tomorrow without throwing Eyanson. Would take a special outing from someone to eat up some innings, like Cowan, but if we can save Eyanson and have both Kade and Eyanson completely rested for the championship series, we are sitting very pretty.

If you throw Eyanson tomorrow then you're not goign to see him again until Game 3 of the championship series, if there's a game 3, and depending on how many pitches he throws on wednesday he might not even be a full go for that game 3.
You lose tomorrow, then you throw him on Thursday and we should get that win and lose Eyanson for the championship series but at least we'd have a fully rested Kade and likely a fully rested Evans who could start Game 2.
