They bailed after their HC left for Seton Hall. Should we?

I'd bet most, if not all, of them go to Seton Hall too.

Makes you wonder if there is a thread on their message board bitching about the "Seton Hall Peacocks".

Loyalty towards a HC means everything in CBB. The same can be said for position coaches and lead recruiters in CFB. (S. Ika and J. White -> Aranda / Baylor). When coaches leave for various reasons, players often follow.

McMahon and his staff have a lot of work to do. I'll support him and trust the process.

They won’t translate to high D1. They weren’t even the best team in their conference. They just got hot at the right time. Doug Edbert would get mauled in the SEC

I think a couple could be decent backups, but not guys you have to depend on. Rupert who was a freshmen this past year has some strength and a thick build who can bang around some down low. Not great height, but can help, he used his strength well at times. KC Ndefo would be a good high energy guy, defensive player, blocks a ton of shots. Last would be Banks, I think he has enough quickness to help and can get hot, he carried the team in the 1st half vs. Kentucky.

I agree on Edert. If you can get enough talent around him, he can be a shooter when hot.

They won more NCAA tournament games in a weekend than Will Wade did in his LSU career.

The bogeyman Will Wade is gone. He can’t hurt you anymore.

None of those guys are any good. I saw ESPN saying the three “stars” were in portal. I looked into their stats, then laughed.

The media really get tricked by the tournament. Caleb Love is a trash player. Media drooled over him watching him in tournament. Givony destroyed him in new mock analysis.

So no, should not with these St Peter’s guys.

So a team fires their coach, loses in first round, and all the players hit the portal.

Another team has their coach leave for another job after making it to the Elite Eight... and all the starters hit the portal.

This is what college bball has become. No one plays for a school anymore. They play for a coach and/or themselves.

What will be huge is if we can get Murray State's 6'10" center Williams who was their leading scorer and is very good. The point guard we got from Murray is also very good and will make people forget about Pinson. McMahon needs some good three point shooters now, both SG and the Wing.

I don't mind if a player plays for a coach or for themselves. But the transfer rules are destroying the game, and very quickly.

It's open free-agency, and the emotional attachment to our college teams is now gone, which was one of the main things that made college ball much better than the pro game.

It took me half a year to figure out who our players were this year, and next year will be all new guys.

The college game is gone - and it's a pity.

It depends on the school and the coach.

Yep it’s all done. College sports ruined forever. Bunch of fricking whining babies on here.

You should be able to go to college wherever the frick you want. And if you decide you want to go somewhere else, do that. All the grown arse people complaining about this on message boards are losers.

Also won more NCAAT games than Matt McMahon.

Of course, you worded it in a way that tries to strip Wade of credit for two wins his team had while he was suspended.

Of course, on the other hand, you'll try to blame Wade for this year's first round exit.

Nice try.
