Maybe we should close all upper decks too if we wanna make it “feel like the old TS”/s
—I like it. That would increase demand for seats in the original bowl and fewer would leave early

Upper level tickets are still selling for close to $200 each. Much more posts looking for tickets on the Ticket Exchange than posts selling. There is a ticket demand for this game. Should be a great atmosphere.

Old Timer Alert!
My first LSU game was against Ole Miss in 1970 (Archie Who?), and one end zone was blue with red "U M". Can't imagine what the Rant would do if we gave the opponents an end zone today!

Looks awesome. But the announcers may think it’s a Goodyear ad

That just seemed to be a practice only from 1970-79.

Before 1970, most college football end zones were plain and unmarked (except for a few, like Tennessee with the checkerboard pattern).

The DG's had these EZ's in the Spring Game and was hoping they would roll them over for the entire season because they look much better than the 3rd Grade Art Class Endzones with all the empty space on each side of the LSU logo..

Not anywhere close to looking like the GOAT field design though.

And WE (TGBFTL) used to play the Fight Songs of the visiting SEC team to the East Side during Pre-Game.

I loved playing Rebel March-Dixie for Ole Miss but flat out refused to play that "Yeah Alabama" crap at all. I played "Ghost Strokes" during practice, but during the actual Alabama game Pre-Game, I kept my hands with Bass Drum mallets up on the rims so it was noticeable that I wasn't playing......

The end zones were amazing. Hope they keep that the rest of the season at least
