The only reason this was ever investigated criminally was due to bribery and money laundering. The feds don’t give a damn about NCAA bylaws. And honestly, the only reason they cared about the former was because Uncle Sam wasn’t able to tax the money changing hands. That’s why the FBI got Wade dismissed as a witness. Guys, the federal case doesn’t have anything to do with Will Wade. Will Wade on phone recording was a byproduct of a major federal investigation. In other words, a piece of evidence.

Exactly, the only reason the feds were ever in touch with Wade was as a potential witness against the actual person who was on trial. When that came out Chris Dawkins lawyer reached out to Forde to have him smear Wade in case Wade was called. Dawkins is a multiple felon and the case involving Wade was about wire fraud which included payments from an agency to college athletes with Dawkins at the center of it. But the media along with idiots who swallow every headline have twisted this into somehow having Wade as the target when that couldn’t be further from the truth.

Time for this BS to end. It's been 3 years , either you have something on wade or you don't. All the programs tied with FBI investigation got a NOA except lsu , so I'm thinking they don't

Well, for Forde, it is technically libel, not slander. That said, they are skirting a fine line and I would love to see someone take these guys to task for it. As long as they have not said/written anything that can be proven as false, they can get away with it. But I would think that if any of the things that they have "reported" can be proven to be fabricated the Cisse situation and the timing of when these posts were released can clearly be shown to have resulted in damages to LSU.

How long does it take to resolve this crap? Either there is evidence he broke the rules and drop the hammer or he didn't and move on.
