No, they want to fire him because they’re a bunch of irrational bleeding panicked vaginas. Sorting through the rant after a loss is like dealing with a PMS-ing girlfriend.

This is why the USC loss was so devastating. It was in our grasp

The Aggie game shows that this team is not a competitor for the National Championship. The USC game does not matter, unless you think making the playoffs, only to be bitch-slapped, is important.

while most are very disappointed in his performance in most ‘big’ games I’m not sure most want him fired. Speaking for myself, I’ve expressed concerns about his abilities to live up to the expectations for his salary range and to even live up to his predecessors in delivering one NC, I’m not calling for his firing. He’s doing ok in terms of pulling us out of the hole that O left us in and stabilizing the program, and delivering quality recruits. We are now a decent program. He should not be fired anytime soon. I’m just not convinced we’ll be elite under his tenure. The loss Saturday is a case in point. We should have won and we should have beaten USCw.

thought there was a good chance of us losing to A&M ……I did not think that we would go into halftime up by 10 only to be completely dominated in the second half.

THIS X 1,000… I was worried about the game, but then after how sharp we played on both sides of the ball in the 1st half, I didn’t think we could lose; even if they got things rolling and started putting up points I didn’t think they could stop us from continuing to score….
(Well, THEY didn’t stop us ; it was the the INTs, haha)

Fired is a stretch. But he does deserve blame for that game. And how with 2-First Round Tackles we still cannot open holes to run the ball and take pressure off the QB from having to make every fricking play to win the game.

Yep, fire him 2 1/2 years in and start new! No way that ends badly for LSU. Our fans are hilarious

You’re exactly right!! The chicken Littles always go strong for a couple days, but they will eventually die down. LSU still has everything in front of them. The SEC and the playoffs. Every team has issues. Anyone not understanding that it’s just in denial and wants to bitch about BK blah blah blah. His quarterback and his kicking team choked. The whole rest of the team showed up ready to do their jobs.

I know the buck stops with BK, but I put majority of the blame on Sloan and the offense.

1. Play calling is so predictable (1st Down: Incomplete deep shot down the sideline, 2nd Down: Run up the middle for 1 yard at most). Consistently putting ourselves in bad spots on 3rd Down. Moving the sticks keeps Reed and that offense off the field and shortens the game.

2. Those 3 picks by Nuss were atrocious. He's gotten bailed out a couple of times by our D and from penalties, but these came back to bite us.

3. Our offensive line is so damn soft. I guarantee you that if they did to Nuss what Shepherd was doing to Herbert yesterday in the Saints game, our line wouldn't retaliate at all. It's no wonder we can't run the ball effectively. Why Sloan doesn't incorporate SOMETHING to help the run game get going (jet sweeps with Thomas, Anderson, etc.) is beyond me.

I predicted LSU would go 9-3. That doesn't mean I'm happy if LSU goes 9-3. I think LSU should be 10-2 in year 3.

It’s frustrating that we keep losing big games the same way.

That's a matter of opinion grounded in the level of success you want. If you want a 3 to 4 loss team on average, I think you've found your man.

It's not that we lost is how we lost. Sloppy (FG disaster), undisciplined (still getting several false start penalties), outcoached (not crashing the QB on read option). Year 3 we expect more from a Kelly coached team.

I say no way we L to Vandy at home and Bama a toss up. Probly L at UF though and OU is terrible no way L at home but could be cold weather and favor them like ND several years ago.

So many fans think its so easy to coach in major college football.
The ncaa has restricted practice time to so many hours a week. There
aren`t any teams with enough time to practice for a backup QB with his ability to run like he does. And if anyone really paid attention to the game, you
noticed that both Weeks and Penn were non factors because A@M s
OL got to the second level and took them out of the play. They executed
against our best D players and won the battle. You people can blame BK
Blaker ,Joe Sloan all you want but right now A@M HAS more talent than
LSU overall and their crowd took over just like Tiger Stadium did against
OM.It works both ways in college sports ,you cant say these things don`t
matter when things don`t when they don`t our way.
