Cannot run through a wet paper bag. The first and goal at the one yard line is emblematic of its feeble nature. Hilton drops a perfectly thrown bomb and, of course, Nuss and his idiotic interceptions. But, hey, as BK says, it's difficult to win in the SEC. We are going to see just how difficult in the weeks to come.

Why are you always such a retard? What do you do for a living? It can’t be something that actually requires analytical skills. I’d like to think that you’re just trolling a lot of the time, but that’s really giving you the benefit of the doubt.

They were much improved but turned the ball over too many times all near the goal line. However, having to kick a field goal after having a first and goal inside the one was just awful.

Please. Tell me how the offense took a step forward. Drops, fumbles and first and goal at the one and they do nothing but lose yards. The offense is a steaming mound of prairie biscuits. How can it be this awful in season four of BK reign? Is this what you expected? Sorry if your feelings are hurt. Maybe find a safe space but you can count on LSU not making the playoffs again.

We had some big plays and that was a huge improvement.

To the OP’s point, we still can’t line up and confidently get 1 yard when we really need it.

Hey, sorry you weren't able to watch the game. Maybe you'll catch the next one.

"So the offense improved in no way"

Spoken by someone who didn't watch the game. LSU fumbled at the goal line...the INT was at the goal line...Hilton dropped a perfectly thrown pass. LSU left a minimum of 17 points on the table. It would be nice to actually put those points on the scoreboard but to ignore LSU moving down the field to make those mistakes to begin with tells me you don't know much about the game of football. 'nuff said

420 yards in offense is no improvement?

We ran the ball better than we have all season.
Utilized Trey’dez green significantly better than earlier this year.
Nuss made throws with serious zip on it, unlike against Ole Miss.

Yeah you are right. BTW the OC's at Ole Miss, Georgia, Florida, Oklahoma and Texas should all be fired immediately! Terrible play calling skills and they have no imagination. Oh and Oregon's OC and Penn States OC need to be fired too.

Agree?

Leaving points on the table, constant drops and turnovers = loses to Vandy, ATM, Al and OK. If we lose to Vandy, the season is over and the team craters to 7-5.

It’s a mixed bag

Play calling and the run game were clearly better

But bad turnovers and Nuss’ decision making negated that.

So while we got more yards last night, the end result looked about the same. Not encouraging

Short yardage was lame last night yet the offense still gained 166 yards on the ground overall. There were several run plays that were actually blocked well for a change last night.

Don't know if you watched any other games...a few highlights of respected teams.
1) Indiana QB throws a pick 6 to let Oregon tie the game
2) Georgia looks like crap for over half of the game vs Auburn
3) OU has 0 offense other than an inconsistent Mateer....P.S. LSU will BEAT OU unless they actually come up with an offense
4) USC QB who is supposed to be good throws a STUPID INT near the GL where he MIGHT have been trying to throw it away
etc, etc, etc

Every team makes mistakes. BTW, I saw almost 0 LSU dropped passes. You must have been watching another game. The Hilton one is the one I saw. The other "drops" were poorly thrown passes behind the receiver.
