Daniels and Nuss gives us a crazy advantage next season. As someone posted earlier, Daniels just needs to see better on the deep and pull the trigger. I'm sure they are working on it. I think it may be a two QB system next season. It's going to be hard to keep Nuss on the blench considering the improvement in his game.

Not everyone thinks it is the best choice. We'll find out next year.

2900 yards passing over 68% completion. 64% completion for career. Accuracy is not the problem with him.

Completely different types of players throwing the football. Daniels is way more accurate, Lamar better with the deep ball. This shows you have no clue what you are talking about.

No he doesn’t. It’s his job.

Really? Maybe you should let Brian Kelly know that.

“There’s no quarterback controversy. Jayden is the No. 1 quarterback. Garrett will get an opportunity to compete though,” Kelly said.

It won’t though. I could see Nuss getting a drive if Daniels struggles for a couple possessions.

What improvement? Every time he played this past season he was trying to throw it to the other team as much as his own guys.

Benn waiting 4 years for this to occur.

You are aware he was second in the SEC (68%) one point behind Hendon Hooker, and 9th in the nation in completion %, right?

If you are going to make an argument at least have a well founded one.

He won't, Garrett will have to take it from him. It'll probably be close, but if it's close, they're going to go to the guy with experience.

That's why coaches get fired all the time. Even the last two coaches that won a NC at LSU.

No coaches do not get fired because they did not start the back up QB that a segment of the fan base was clamoring for, that is just a narrative fans like to tell themselves. No one wants to win more than the coach. Miles problem was that he didn’t adapt overall and the program was declining. Orgeron was just not a good coach who lucked into a great situation.

The beauty of the back up QB is you get to apply whatever results you want. What most people do not understand is that because 1 player may not be good does not mean another can’t be worse.

Daniels was the best option last year, he wasn’t perfect and frustrating at times holding the ball too long, but Kelly’s record shows he knows more than you.

So strange how stupid everyone is thinking Daniels cant improve after he was the team voted mvp and led a team that was in last place in the sec west last year and won the sec west this year.

Are you this dumb. If so please stop proving it so easily to everyone.

Here’s some FACTS to help you and yours

Jayden daniels last season was……..
87 yards away from being on my the 5th qb in program history to throw for 3000 yards
He finished second to only Burrow in LSU history in total qb yards
He had a 60% pass completion
He had double the DROPs that burrow had in 2019.

So as you can see now Jayden is an elite qb in LSU history. Please stop pretending he’s not.

How so? He’s been the starter since he’s been here and has done nothing to lose it.

He also showed terrible flashes against A&M (at the end of the season) which is very concerning.

He was far from terrible in the A&M game and if the defense had half arse done their job we would have won that game. Too bad they gave up more points to a shitty A&M offense than anyone else did all season.
