With all the Howard talk now Nuss is being included but the conversation seems to give it to a guy who often could not hit the side of a barn and never proved that he can dissect a defense. I found it laughable that he felt the need to announce his return for another season, no team was drafting an Inaccurate Lamar Jackson. He has a lot of work to do to be locked in as the starter, but definitely is a good player.

QB is stocked with a variety of talent, one of these guys has to go win the job.

They are for competition but somehow know it’s been given to Jayden already like it’s deserved

He has showed flashes, he dominated Florida in the swamp, led us to a huge comeback against Ole Miss, and took over the game in crunch time against what was a top 5 team in Alabama and Nick Saban vs #1 overall pick Bryce Young. I believe in him.

This might have something to do with Brian Kelly, the head football coach of LSU, stating, in no uncertain terms, that Jayden Daniels is the starting QB heading into 2023 in the post-game press conference after the Citrus Bowl.

BS. The guy was very accurate. He just hesitated too much in certain games.

If Daniels can progress in a second season in this offense he has the potential to be one of the absolute scariest players in college football. His ceiling is sky high.

Yes very strange we’re ok with a QB that lead us to an SECW title in year 1 of a total rebuild when most thought at best we’d win 7 maybe 8 games coming.

Stranger still still is actually trusting the paid professionals who’s jobs and reputations depend on them starting the right players, who watch the players daily in practice, work outs etc over the opinion of message board yahoos

Include the second half against MS St.

He also showed terrible flashes against A&M (at the end of the season) which is very concerning.

But it is not strange at all. Dude started all year, won the West, and is returning. He is the starter.

JD5 is our MVP and planned starter
Nuss will play a key complimentary role alongside JD5
Nuss is our plan to fully drive the cadillac in 2024

Side note: It will be very difficult to prepare for us next year.

Let me get this straight

Jayden Daniels passes up leaving for the NFL & your 5star backup transfers but you can’t grasp that Daniels is entrenched in that QB1 job ?

I think most see it differently than you. Daniels would probably be drafted into the NFL as a QB in this years draft. He has decided to come back to school. Most fan bases would be ecstatic to have a returning 10 win EXPERIENCED QB. Does anyone in the SEC have more starts than Daniels at QB?
Theyre ready to win now.

This board is whining about any one that enters the portal to leave. And also wants to complain about a pro player returning to the school. SMH

JD5 -

43 games as a college player.

His record: 28 wins and 15 losses. THat's a 65% winning percentage (Most of that at Arizona State).

He's coming back for his 5th year.

8,938 career passing yards with 49 TD's and 16 INTs.
2,173 rushing yards and 24 rushing TD's.

8 and 4
8 and 5
2 and 2
10 and 4 as a starter

I thought I saw a quote from BK stating "there's not a QB controversy, Jayden Daniels is the starter".

Me too. I also believe in Nuss. I don't understand why more fans just can't believe in both. Instead people resort to the simpleton mentality, one bad, one good...
