Of all that’s been said on the subject, THIS is all anyone needs to know.

THIS is why CBK started JD last year. And this year. He doesn’t have to throw better, let the ball go, move the ball — that’s all bullshite.

Maybe CBK is thinking that college football has already become NFL, and TO’s is the all important metric for an offense in the NFL.

So the "Nuss Bus" crew is totally cool with his two or more interceptions a game?

Jayden Daniels passes up leaving for the NFL

So did I.
Why did he pass up going to the NFL? That was his plan when he came to play for LSU.
That is what the coaches told "the five star backup".

You're getting torn up for this, rightfully.

Daniels is the more accurate passer, if you watch. The issue that has people up in arms is that he holds it too much, and sometimes is a half second late, and the plays look out of rhythm.

Nussmeier is the guy that occasionally misses by 5-10 yds. Not a bunch, but he's sailed a few.

And since the head coach said Daniels is firmly the starter and there's no controversy, it's kinda stupid to keep whining about this.

I'm an LSU fan, I'm good with whoever goes out there. I'm a fan of the team itself. I've stopped watching the NBA, because of the way they push the individual player instead of the team.

I'm a Saints fan too. I cheered for Bobby Hebert to throw touchdowns and wanted Jim Everett to throw interceptions, until Hebert went to the Falcons and Everett came here. Then I rooted for Everett to throw TDs and Hebert to fall on his arse.

This might have something to do with Brian Kelly, the head football coach of LSU, stating, in no uncertain terms, that Jayden Daniels is the starting QB heading into 2023 in the post-game press conference after the Citrus Bowl.

Yes, BK said JD is our QB1. But he can change that any day he pleases without having to backtrack that statement.

It’s so strange that we have a lot of head coaches who sit behind a computer all day and think they know LSU’s personnel better than the on field coaches.

Qb started all of 2022 and also started bowl game. If you don't think he isn't starting QB in 2023 I dnt know what to tell you. It isn't hard to figure it out.

He also showed terrible flashes against A&M (at the end of the season) which is very concerning.

I think there were a whole lot of players that showed terrible flashes against A&M. He was one of many.
It was team stinkage,

CBK literally said he was the starter as of now. Age does help look at Burrow extra year Bennet same age as Lamar Jackson. That extra year is a big deal in college

Agree. The Defense was as bad as the offense in that game. It was a team loss.

Yeah you don't know shite about football and from the sound of never even watched the games. Accuracy is not a issue for Daniels. The only issue with Daniels is he needs to learn to trust his arm and not hold on to the ball so long. But when he does throw it he is very accurate.

How is that strange? He is our MVP and starter?

CBK has made this very clear and also that there will be competition for the extent of Nuss’s complimentary role. Stops short of dual QBs but I think we’ll see a ton of Nuss.
