So let me make sure I understand the official Rant position on all of this..

If I am concerned about Kiffin's stretching the envelope of the rules to see how far he can take it, I'm a pussy.
If I'm concerned about going to war with the SEC, I'm a pussy.
If I am concerned about LSU being the pariah of college football, I'm a pussy.
If I don't think the end (winning) justifies the means, I'm a pussy.
Have I got all of that right?

Huh? Well the first thing you should figure out for yourself is the realization that LSU is not the only one stretching the envelope. Nearly every college has in many ways. Which is why we’re in this position. So you should stop reading into news outlets and familiarize yourself with what is happening.

The issue isn't all other ways people are stretching the rules. Its that the line is being drawn t guys that signed NFL contracts and participated in training camps. Can you name another school that has signed a training camp cut?
I understand why we signed the guys but as it stands, we are no longer trying to protect ourselves against others signing these guys instead of us. We are trying to bend the rules a step too far. I thought for sure that the other SEC schools would sign NFL rejects after cut day but they didn't. So we are alone in this and should give it up.
