Kelly unapologetically named his top 9 and Thomas wasn’t there. I was surprised Marlon Martinez wasn’t mentioned either. He proved to be a versatile guy last year. The two transfers and guys with Campbell and Dellinger’s abilities were going to be hard to break. Looks like it’s down to Bradford vs. Wire for RT with an edge to Bradford and Dumervil behind them. It’s fortunate we have 3 easy games to get the OL some experience together. It’s almost impossible to replace all 5 guys in a year. One thing is clear though, Maason Smith is going to wreck shite every week. He's even bigger than last year if that was even possible and he's been unblock-able in practice. The snap Dellinger fricked up was because Maason was in the backfield as soon as the ball was snapped.

New conditioning and nutrition system, and he has not lost any weight in 8 months.

Young man is not committed, and it shows.

Look at the team pic, Kardell Thomas can’t lose the unhealthy weight. He’ll be over 400 lbs when his playing days are over.

Kelly is weeding out players from the old guard.

Damn. The nutrition program let this kid down or he just can’t give up the junk food...

Not sure what schedule you have, but we don’t have 3 “easy games” to start the season

I don't see bradford giving up right tavkle

Dude is a big beast with quick feet. He was mauling dudes in the run game.

So who are the backup guards? Thomas had been running with the 2’s

I think he still is. He just isn't necessarily in the mix to start.

The first 5 games plus UAB are the 6 easiest games on the schedule I think. Of course FSU and Moo State are probably the two toughest games in those 6.. Depends on what they put on the field this year and that game. Moo State was wildly inconsistent last year but had some decent games. FSU was also bad but they played a lot of close games.

I think Emery Jones might pass him up

Emory Jones is probably the best backup LG, could be the best backup at either G spot... Maybe Martinez after him, not sure. If Frazier were to go down they may want to move Bradford there, and Wire to OT,they did call AB and Frazier interchangeable. That may be what the swapping is about, coming up with back up plans??

It’s not the nutrition center’s fault if he’s going home to eat momma’s home cooking every night. I never expected much from him just by his look and it seems correct. I believe he thought he’d be able to push people around like he did in high school again at 170 lb DL. I’d be surprised if he doesn’t leave. If he didn’t then he really just doesn’t care to play. The backup guard would be Wire or Emery Jones it seems.
