Everything hinges on the Clemson game.

Not at all. If LSU loses to Clemson and wins their next three they’ll be one of the favorited to make the playoffs.

I'll start buying in if they beat Clemson, if Kelly loses another opener with this talented of a team he will most definitely be on hotseat. Talk is just that

I haven’t heard anyone saying that LSU should win the national championship this year. Which WR is a guaranteed game changer?

I think Clemson and Texas have the best rosters and best chances.

I do think this team has the talent and experience to win it.

Someone here awhile back showed the first and second year of every LSU QB going back to at least early 2000s. All of them made statistical jumps in their second year of starting. If Nuss has any kind of improvement, which history says he will, he will be a heisman contender and LSU should be making a serious run in the playoffs.

LSU will be ranked #1 by October. This is the best roster Kelly has had and he’s about to roll with it.

It's entirely possible. He finally had the money to bring in legitimate talent, this off season. This will likely be his best team at LSU to date.

One of the stated reasons he left ND was he couldn't put together a roster because they wouldn't fund it. Well despite all the "we told you so: noise from ND fans, they still haven't surpassed what he did there (he played for a title, too).

If LSU loses to Clemson we’re not making the playoffs. That will set the tone for the season.

They say all this shiate every year. The fact is, we are a 3/4 loss team almost every year. Period. End of story.

I haven’t heard this but if he isn’t in the playoffs this year, I want him gone. Won’t happen with his contract but I’ll want him gone.

If we don't make the playoffs this year with all this hype shut the program down.
