No one knows the legal and financial implications of this draconian move by the 'SKANK'. Both parties could survive without the other. Having said that, here we go again with moving the goal post during the game. The SEC would have to pay a significant sum $$,000,000 to remove LSU from the SEC...JMO

You are correct-If you don't fill your roster, you can add to unfilled spots at a later date.

My understanding is LSU can leave spots unfilled, to be filled at a later date. But, once the roster is full, there aren't any changes allowed.

Not trying to 'type and talk' like him but, this is unfolding as a very similar playbook that comes out of D.C. on a regular basis. I was never a conspiracy advocate regarding the SEC/gumpville but dang, the dots are connecting.
