I hope Louisville pitches Forbes and they force an if necessary game.

Probably easier for the bats to get into a groove playing games multiple days in a row compared to having days off

Will more than likely win tomorrow, then to the finals. If LSU wins tomorrow, we were still dealt a shitty hand. That’s all I got to say about that

Florida had two days off before the finals in 2023 too.

If LSU cannot destroy coastal Carolina with whatever pitchers they have on their roster, LSU has no business being in the World Series

Coastal has had a better program than multiple SEC schools for over a decade

Exactly. Coastal is literally a 10 program over the last 10 years without question

Yep. The best and only answer is just win. Pretty simple.

Coastal Carolina has some really good pitchers though. You act like they're scrubs.

And the the winners reaching the semi-finals can play a best-of-seven, then the championship game can be a best-of-nine with two days between games that last until mid July. And any game won in the championship series not decided by three of more runs on an odd numbered day under a half to full moon must be replayed in temperature over 85 degrees under the sign of Venus.

Most SEC schools. They have a national championship in the last decade. I would say the only sec schools who can objectively say they are better are LSU, Florida, and Vanderbilt.

Coastal has LESS rest before game One, right? They started on FRI while we started on SAT.

But so did everyone else in their bracket. There is a little inherent disadvantage for the bracket that starts the second day relative to the other bracket. Their pitching gets compressed a bit. But the alternative would be to play in two different stadiums, I guess.

LSU has a very good chance to go into the championship series with a fully rested Anderson and Eyanson

I wouldn't call it very good. If we lose today, we will likely burn one of them Thursday, probably Eyanson. LSU is an underdog today, so....a chance, yes...very good...no. However, imo, we need to have both available in the finals to have a chance. We just aren't that deep with reliable starting pitching outside of our top 2.

Coastal has been lounging in a hotel and living out of suitcases while not playing much ball. They have unfamiliar practice facilities too. The momentum they have is at risk

However, the Tigers have a job to complete versus the Hogs and CC is not clear of the Cards so none of it matters to LSU fans

I hope the LSU players and coaching staff see this. I bet not a single one of them understand how tournament baseball works. And more importantly, that there are factors often out of your control that can benefit your team or, gasp, benefit another team in the tournament.

Thanks so much for pointing this out, hopefully the Supreme Court will correct this injustice, it’s so offensive and unfair.

Has anyone checked their pillows? Are they getting more and better sleep than LSU?

What about the hotel AC?
