I’ve thought this since the start of the year. He had to bring in 40+ transfers this offseason, didn’t really get to work the high school circuit before signing day, as well as half of the staff being between here and OM.
This year was about just fielding a competitive roster, next year will be about improving that competitive roster and filling holes. Much better position to be in moving forward

The biggest thing is the roster won’t be so uneven ever again. This year we had so many pieces coming together at once and while most things worked out, some could be better.

Seeing people all over twitter are butt hurt about that comment.
They are saying it’s crazy to assume we would be more talented than our 50MM roster now.
They are missing point that some of these players will return and we will have less holes to fill next year than this year and we will buy more players.
