Yes. Any team looking for a good OC, we will be super duper disappointed if you took Sloan away from us.

Lots of posters here thought he was some QB whisperer and supported him getting the bump to OC.

If the QB and OL improves only then we can have a fair evaluation of Sloan. Once again Nuss and an inexperienced OL is our problem right now.

Sloan did the same shite last yr. Predictable. No motion.

I do agree that he sometimes look worse because of o line play and nuss but he isn't a great oc.

He has no rhythm as a play caller. He doesn't set anything up. Anyone who is a good oc would tell you this.

Bro he runs on 2nd and 10 all the time.

He refuses to run into 4 man boxes.

Both of these are wrong. The second one is comically wrong, because he never even sees a four man box unless it’s third and twenty.

Maybe Napier can hire him as his OC at the P5 school he will be at next fall. He certainly is not the best that LSU should be able to attract for the position.

We thought it was worth a shot.
LAST YEAR. CBK had his man at DC (BACK at LSU), so he wasn't also bringing in a new DC at the same time (THIS YEAR).

While going in a different direction and dumping the CO-OC experiment this year would have slighted Hankton (and could have brought a different set of problems going forward), it still would have been the correct decision.

The only remotely possible way to the playoffs (at this point in 2025) is to turn the play-calling duties over to Hankton.

And YES, I had "scheme / play calling" as One of my Top-Two in DandyDon's recent poll . . .
