Skenes started the season giving up 5ER in 2/3rds of an inning.

His ERA is now 1.98 with a .64 WHIP

he’s actually 6-2 now

Sometimes I sit back and wonder just how insane it would have been for Skenes and Misiorowski to pitch Fridays and Saturdays for lsu in 2023

I still wonder about what the staff would have looked like if Grant Taylor never got hurt and was pitching for LSU in 2023. He either would have been the “closer” or Saturday starter. Floyd would’ve been the best Sunday starter if Grant was #2.

He’s had two bad starts. Otherwise he’s been lights out.
