Since the last final four appearance 15yrs ago

We have had 6 20 wins seasons.
Wade has 3 of them.
We have 5 NCAA appearances.
Wade has 3 of those.
This is year 5 of the Wade era, and people actually think he should be fired????
And we were shorted one appearance because of COVID.
Extend this man!!!! Now!!!

For real. Wade is responsible for more than half the tourney and 2.0 wins seasons in the last 20 years,

I certainly do not believe Wade should be fired, but I don’t believe he should be lauded because he’s done a better job than Jones, Johnson and Brady. He needs to be judged against Pearl, Calipari, Barnes, and the other SEC coaches.
To date he’s done fairly well, but he needs a better year next year.
We need to contend in late February next year. We have some very good players coming in to go along with the ones we have staying.

He has more SEC wins than any of these Hall of Fame Coaches since 2019.

I’ve mentioned this in other threads as well, look where Jay Wright and Tony Bennett were at in year 4 and 5. WW is on as good or better trajectory and he’s had to deal with the Dawkins crap.

The negas don't realize how much 2 injuries affected the potential of this team.
UK and Tenn at home earlier in the year should show people what the team could have done all year barring those injuries.

LSU is a football school. Too many football fans comment on basketball. Thats pretty well sums it up. Wade is a great coach. Will one day break thru and get us to a final 4. Will be a tourney team almost every year. I hope he retires at LSU

So those performances and then injuries to Pinson and Days mean what now that Pinson and Days are back along with O’Neal and maturation from Murray and Gaines?
Shouldn’t we be besting some of the top teams now? Do you think we are playing to the level we were early on?

That is nice. These coaches are judged in March though. How does Wade compare? It's comical trying to actually show comparisons to hall of Fame coaches. Good god.

Wade won’t be fired because of any shortcomings as a coach.
But you folks better read the handwriting on the wall. Woodward is not happy with Wade and this whole “strong arse offer” thing. If Woodward was going to extend Wade, he would already be signed and sealed.
Woodward will not extend Wade. Wade is a good coach but not good enough that Woodward can’t replace him and remove the cloud from the program.

Those teams are much improved. LSU isnt. KY had their top 2 players miss games too. They beat both bama and LSU.

What the heck do you expect ? Final four runs every year . What Wade has done at a school that’s past has shown doesn’t care about basketball is incredible . Extend him , this man will have plenty more teams in the future that will win alot of basketball games

UK is full of 5* players and high ranking 4* players. They can absorb injuries better than we can.
LSUMBB program is in very good shape. I know Woodward wants to get rid of Wade mainly because he did not hire WW. But I do not think SW will fire WW nor do I think he will let WW's contract lapse in 2023. And I doubt SW would hire a HC better than WW...I saw his MBB hire at A&M. Not impressive.

Woody needs to google "Joe Aleva/Vanderbilt game" to see what is in store for him if he fires Wade. EVERY PROGRAM cheats to get the top players. It's asinine to think otherwise.
