He’s been a fan for so long he has no idea what’s happened before this season. He thought Dale Brown was hired here at 23 years old, he thought Brown was in the final 4 his 5th season at LSU when he hadn’t won more than 15 games in a season yet. He makes guesses about things that are common knowledge among actual LSU basketball fans. The guy is a total fraud.

Lol. I guarantee you that ain’t happening with Woodward. He will not extend Wade and it’s not going to hurt him a bit.

It would be the biggest mistake Woodward has made since the Jimbo hire.
He better wait until his last two hires are proven before he screws with a winner.
LSU lost Saban. Alabama has been a thorn ever since.
Letting Wade go, and he goes to Kentucky. Can you imagine taking Wade's recruiting ability to the Big Blue. If Woodward is as cunning as you indicate???

And he was busted cheating and got fired. Your point?

Let’s see, injuries this year has ZERO IMPACT ON THE WIN-LOSS record.
You’re chiecjanwong or who ever that idiot was. It is apparent because he has disappeared.

Help me out a-hole. How are you feeling about your boy Bruce right now?

With a healthy team including Miller, this team would MAYBE have 3 losses. You’re not going to convince me otherwise. frick off

Wade’ needs to improve on this year’s record with the talent on hand and with the talent coming in, or yes there will be a bunch of restless fans. Would Wade get fired? I doubt it.

Now Wade might go on a tear from now on and get us into the Sweet 16. The 8-8 (hopefully 9-9) record would be forgotten. In that case Wade will have given himself some extra breathing roo, and a ton of momentum moving forward..

Like some on here I often get frustrated with his shortcomings as an X's and O's guy. The main thing to remember is he brings in talent, in areas where he is weak he works to get better and bring in help, and most importantly this program is in a waaaaayyyy better place than it was when he took over. Lets let the Man work. We are 20-9 right now and at worst will be a 6 or 7 seed in the Tourney. For now I will take it! Now if he comes out next year and stinks it up then we can re-visit this.

That one seed is gone and if they choke away another road game to State, which ain't out of the realm of possibility given how they have played o the road lately, they may slip to 3. And Perl had a losing record last year overall and in conference. And lucky the ref called a bogus bailout foul on New Mexico his FF year or Auburn bows out in the first round that year.

Kentucky may be best team in country currently.
And had a 9-16 record last year.

And since you were earlier propping up Dale in saying that if WW could overachieve to Dale's standard which meant winning in March, you could maybe put Dale's year 2-5 numbers side by side with WW's you posted here and compare achievement - or overachievement as you credit Daddy Dale with.

Look WW hasn't had his best year this year and I have my criticisms and I've shared them here.

But hell it ain't near a bad as Pearl and Cal's last year and they are the two gold standards constantly held up to slam WW. How convenient those who do that forgot last year with those two coaching legends.

I think SW will let WW’s contract expire. WW is a good coach and a great tiger, but I think the strong arse offer being recorded was frowned upon.

I agree with your post completely, with one exception. DO NOT be shocked when you see the committee put us SQUARELY on that 8-9 line. I have seen it way too many times over the years where any objective analysis had us higher. Two times off of the top of my head are last year and 2009. Wait and see, and let's hope I'm wrong.

They dropped us 2-3 seeds after the Carlos groves incident back in 1992. The NCAA had it out for Dale, and now it seems the same with Wade.

We have had 6 20 wins seasons.
Wade has 3 of them.
We have 5 NCAA appearances.
Wade has 3 of those.
This is year 5 of the Wade era, and people actually think he should be fired????
And we were shorted one appearance because of COVID.
Extend this man!!!! Now!!!
My Man, that is "laying pipe"!

He should be fired for ineptitude. He simply can’t coach a lick. He should have a video game named after him: Streetball Hero

Ok. Cal is at THE SEC basketball powerhouse. Wade has more SEC wins than Pearl or Barnes.

I don't think he should be fired.

He recruits way too well to be fired.

You just learn to live with lowered expectations that be can't coach these guys up enough to make hay in the tournament. If you can do that, you're fine.

And that's what you call the reasonable take on the situation at hand.
