Settle down, Francis. The Defense has the clear advantage here with continuity from the previous season. The offense will improve. This is exactly what should have been predicted.

So the staff was supposed to see Burrow for one week then decide who the starter would be?

Really? That’s what you’re telling me right now?

Did you witness the practice? He may be ahead.
Not many QBs can be accurate when under pressure.

Not to mention sometimes the smart thing to do is throw the ball away and not take a sack or force a turnover

Really have no idea what happened looking at just stats

There's your first mistake. Quit assuming some on here know what they are talking about. Burrow will be fine, though. Relax a bit. Come off the ledge.

That and it was wet. Could there have been drops? People slipping maybe? Who knows with no tape. Plus, most people assume the worse.

NO, but I would expect the starter to still be the guy Ensminger named after spring...since no one has done enough at this point to replace him.
That's what I'm telling you

He is running with the 3s and 4s until classes start so McMillan can't grad transfer and be eligible immediately. O wants McMillan as the back up. He will give up quality with the 1s to keep a back up.

Don't let 7 of 13 fool you. Offensive line sucked today. Besides, we don't know the SITUATIONS. We do know Burrow is the guy.

yup... rumor has it, it was 13 shots down the field.. they just lied about the yardage to conceal how weak the d was....

Shouldn’t he be behind since every qb he’s competing against had 1-3 years on him?

How do the other QBs have 1-3 years on him when it's a new offense this season?

Daringer, with 33 posts to your credit, I have a suggestion for you: post less. One per year would be good for you.

If LN keeps getting a better feel for the offense watch out. I would like to see him do well enough to be the clear #2 on top of a package or two as has been stated. If jmac keeps shining E may play 2 qb’s vs Miami. And also run the wildcat with LN. I could see jmac stsrting the first drive to see if he can immediately jump start the offense. Of he doesn’t Burrow will step n and probably wins it outright. So imo ideally it’s Burrow with LN running wildcat at times.

Dude they have two first round draft picks on the front 4 and a day 1-2 guy at lber. Along with almost everyone behind them returning on D. They made an outstanding hire at HC and DC. They’ve got a horse at Rb. Wr is a ? So we should be able to load the box on them. They are a legit top 15 ball club. Watch out for them this year.

"As good as advertised" IMO would be Mett's arm with Danny's mobility and decision-making.

Anyone preducting 2 Heismans is either trolling or an idiot. Their opinions are not to be taken seriously.

The competition may already be decided for all we know. Regardless of who wins the job the coaches want to avoid transfers if at all possible and the way to do that is through the appearance of a wide-open competition.

Just because something hasn't been announced to fans doesn't mean it couldn't possibly have happened.

Where this QB "battle" really stands at this moment will be evident a month from now.
