Bad investment, IMO

Except he was eligible to leave.

No one who meaningfully helped us win the natty last year is a bad investment IMO.

Again, what does the original quote have to do with anything?

They are watching too much CNN.

And he can gain those lb's faster than flies land on a pile.

Hope he says focused or this is going to cost him many $$$$$

I also, like everyone else on this board, wish he would be playing this season, but I'm not going to take personal shots at him or his dad because of it. He worked really hard last year to get in shape and was a major contributor on the greatest team of all time. It's his decision and his life, not mine. He doesn't owe me anything.

That OL breakout spooked them.

What breakout? A bunch of guys tested positive. So what? How many even got the sniffles or a bad cough?

These are athletes in the prime of life. They have the best medical care money can buy.
COVID-19 is simply not a danger to them.

He might have been scared by Covid but it would be a fairly illogical fear. At his age even his weight is not really factor putting him at much risk. Over weight kids in the 18-22 age range are not dying at any noticeable rate. If a kids weight was a big risk factor then the bodies of kids his age would be stacking up with our America’s obesity problem. That’s not happening. That is more of a factor for older people to consider. If that really is the reason this is an example of a decision being made because somebody didn’t understand the facts they were hearing/reading.

He’s cashing in

Not my concern, and glad he could be a part of last season

I seriously think that they did not go over the probabilities with the medical staff that is there to protect them. You can catch this stuff from the grocery store...one place that dude will not stay away from.

Also, his past shows that he will be weighing in for the draft at 550 lbs.

Having thrown my jabs in.....it is his decision. God bless him and good luck.

35 hospitalization per 100000 cases under 30 years old

The hysteria needs to fricking stop.... This is 35 HOSPITALIZATIONS, not DEATHS, for every 100000 CV19 cases under 35 y/o....
That IS LESS THAN THE FLU for that age.
STOP LISTENING TO frickING CNN.
